For Those Who Are Adopting Placing

Ok I have a question for those of you who are adopting or placing their child... Would you want the adoptive parents to be in the room for delivery? My husband and I are hoping to adopt in .... well, as soon as we can lol! I would love to be invited in for the birth, I know hibby would prob. pass out lol! How would you feel about this?

When hubby and I were trying to adopt, we decided we'd just go with whatever the birthmom's wishes were. We were both ok with what ever happened. How long have you been waiting?

Almost a year, Last june we were told we would never carry.

Have you adopted yet? If, so how long did you wait? We have had a few "failed" adoptions; one like a week ago .

We waited for 2 1/2 years. We had 3 moms change their minds 1-2 weeks prior to the due date. And 2 scams that we lost money on, the FBI is involved and arrests have been made. After dd was born, I was told I'd never carry again. I had 4 miscarriages, but by a miracle from above, we are now pregnant and everything is going well. I know how hard it is, but keep your hopes up. Your angel will come when they are meant to. That is the hardest part hubby and I had to accept. We believe there is a Plan in place, and we just have to be patient and let His plan work. I hope you don't have to wait very long, and best of luck to you.

Thanks, I believe there is a plan too, but I'm too impatient to wait lol! We've had a scam too. Actually we've had several attempted to scam us, but we ignored the replies.
Congrats to you! I wish our story would turn out like that, but I'm sure it will not. At least after next Friday. I am getting my tubes tied. I am making the choice, because my life is important to me. If I get preggo again, I risk dying :( I have clotting disorderd that flare up when I'm preggo. (but I'm fine as long as I'm not preggo) I wish you the best with your pregnancy :)
