Your only 37 weeks. You not considered full term untill your 40-42 weeks. If you rush your baby to come out before its ready you could cause serious problems. However there arent any home solutions you can do that will work unless your body and baby are ready. Just wait a little longer. If your having that much trouble with your pregnancy though talk to your doctor and see if he/she has any ideas to make things more comfortable for you.

While I agree that the baby will come whenever it's ready - 37 weeks is considered full term!

WAIT! The baby WILL come...... If it comes now it may have breathing difficulties. Just rest and wait.

Is it your hips that make walking painful? I have the same issue. Make sure that when you are sleeping on your side, put a pillow in between your legs to help align your hips properly. I have also found that sitting in a b___terfly position (or however close you can get to it) helps stretch your hips out. I do that in the middle of the night when my hips get sore. Other than that, so many things are painful at this time. 37.5 weeks is term, I believe, but extra cooking is sometimes good, I hear. I keep on trying to remind myself that the baby is easier to care for in the womb than out :)

ok i did some searching and found that just about every site states full term is 38-42 weeks. Im not sure if that has changed at all in the last 7 years but when i went through school to be an EMT (emergency medical technician) we were taught 40 weeks. But that may also be that they dont want us delivering babies in the ambulance if we dont absolutly have to.

I think all that stuff are myths. Babies come when they are supposed to. It's not fun to wait expecially if it''s past your due date, just hang in there her or she will be here before you know it.
