I was checked by a nurse practioner when I was 381/2 weeks and it hurt sooooo bad when she pulled out her hand there was blood all over her glove. It has never hurt at any other visits, and I have never bleed. What happened?

don't worry, it just means your cervix is getting really sensitive. I found the closer I got to my due date the more it hurt. the blood is from the softening cervix too.
