Hi, I'm 37 weeks pregnant. I went to the doctor today b/c i've been having some stomach cramps and i lost my mucus plug. He told me i am 2 cm dialated and 50% effaced. He told me that i'm having contractions regularly at 6 minutes apart but i'm not really feeling them that much so he sent me home. How much longer before i go into labor?

well I am in the same boat as you, only effaced just a little more. my dr. told me that I would be in labor before the weekend was over. But I lost my mucus plug over a week ago. It sounds like you should be going soon if your contractions are at even intervals.

im going through the same thing i went into l&d on saturday i was there for 4 hours but then they died off i was soo fustrated but my midwife was there doing another delivery and she told me that i should have my baby by christmas and knowing our luck on christmas night i hoping cause im having contractions everyday im just waiting for them to get stronger or my water to break but im 3cm and 50%effaced and my husband works nights and an hour away and im worried either that i wont make it to the hospital on time or that i will have the baby before he can get there well good luck to the both of you and hopefully we can post our birth stories soon
