Does any body know what the average is on how long after you lose your plug you will actually go into labor? W/ my daughter I lost it early afternoon, and went into labor that evening. I know you can lose it and not go into labor for days, but is that the average?

id like to know too, i lost a blob of egg white type stuff fri night, now sunday night and nothing, but i think if its red and egg whity it will be sooner, some people loose their plug weeks before though, i was due yesterday and come to the conclusion the sure way to know when your baby is comming is when you have a small head in
_between your legs! :-) good luck

i have three kids and i did not lose my plug with either of them until i was in labor. with my 2 year old it was mucusy and pnk. and with my 6 wk old it was clear and tinged with red.

i just had my 3rd 2 days ago-with him i lost part of my plug on sat night then sun morning lost heaps then went into labour that night.with my 2nd daughter i went into labour 4 days after and with my 1st i didnt lose it at al, but was induced with her. so really i dont think theres any definate time to tell.

I lost my mucous plug yesterday afternoon I think it was the end of it but im having the bloody show too Im so tired of getting my hopes up so I thought i would ask somebody else how long it usually takes after that for labor to begin
