Ok this maybe TMI but I am confused, I went to the bathroom and had this hunk of yellow/clear/white snotty stuff the continued to string when I wiped. I have had a little here and there since then but dry at other times. Is this my mucus plug? Does that mean labor is close? I am 37 weeks and at my last dr appt. I was 50% effaced and dialated to a 2+. Thanks!

I lost my mucus plug 3-4 weeks ago. It was similar to what you have. Now I am 40 weeks 4 days and still not in labor. So in short, maybe you will go into labor and maybe you will not...There are times I have noticed increase in v____al discharge which is also a sign that I am losing my mucus plug in bits and pieces but no blood so far...But I think it is your mucus plug from your description..hope this helps..
