Question About Effacement

I am 36 weeks, and I went to my ob this week and she said that she can feel my babies head through my cervix, does this mean that I am effaced a little bit, she said I was not dialated, but if she can feel the head I would think I am kinda effaced...I am so excited that I cannot wait this week to ask! Thanks for all your answers.
