i'm 42 weeks (OMG) and am being induced with cytotec tomorrow but i have this overwhelming fear that once i start labor i won't be able to do it. i'm soo ready to see my little girl but i can't help but think that i'm just not strong enough to do it not to mention concerens about the drugs they are using.anyone got any advice or words of wisdom.i'm a first timer and am simply freaking out.

You'll do fine! I was induced w/ my 1st baby, it wasn't bad. Don't get me wrong it hurt, a lot, but epidurals work great. Plus I was only in labor for 7 hours way fast for a 1st baby. So don't worry it will go quick and you see your little girl before you know it I guaranty it will all be worth it. I'm due any day and I wish I was being induced again, I'm tired of waiting!

i was induced with my first daughter and you don't have anything to worry about. Yes it can be a little scary but once it starts there's pretty much nothing you can do but handle it. You'll see it's well worth it. I am also 37 wks and i wish they would induce me early...lol
