i have a question . . .I had an internal exam today I am 36 1/2 weeks and when i got home i had brownish blood discharge . .. i called my doctor she said it might be bloody show . .. i asked if it was from the exam . .. she didnt answer . . . could this mean I am going to go into labor

hi, the same thing happened to me & i would say that within about 12 hours i was in labour.it can be a sign that it is not far of but i'm sure it's not the case for everyone.

Poohbear-I had an exam around the same time and spotted. She told me totally normal for after an exam. I do believe I lost some of my mucous plug then, but I doubt its the start of labor. For me it wasn't anyway. Your cervix is very sensative. How far were you effaced/dilated?
