today is my due date and i have been constipated...i feel like i have these contractions b/c my stomach hardens for about 30 seconds but i also have gas....how do i know if this is real

Hey Hollie, you would know if they are real if they come like every 5-10 mins and get stronger when moviing or walking. i hope this helps and Good luck with labor and congrats!!!!

I felt the same way the day I went into labour. I started having gas pains at about 3pm, and I had gas, so I didnt think much of it. Aroudn 6pm I found they were coming and going pretty regular. I timed them and they were 6 minutes apart, but didnt hurt. By about 9pm they started to hurt like real contractoins. They should get painful if it is the real thing! Good luck
