if drinking caffeine while you're IN labor slows things down? I saw it on a show but then forgot..
I'm getting induced tues if I don't go this weekend.. but I lost my plug yesterday and have been having contractions on and off for two days now. Thinking it's soon but I can't remember for the life of me what effect caffeine will have..

I've never heard of that one. I may google some stuff and see what comes up. I was really bad and had my husband stop at a 7-11 to get a very small cup of coffee on the way to the hospital when I was in labor last time. I just wanted a little bit of coffee because it was 6am and I love my cup of coffee. I usually drink a cup of 1/2 caffeine, but it was regular coffee that day. I don't think it slowed my labor down though...
