Meghan - PLEASE. You brought the suggestion up and just because we say "ew" doesn't mean we are saying YOUR "ew", just the thought of eating something that was an organ. LOL. Maybe I'll ask my dr next visit if I can do that, just to see the look on her face. LOL!!!!!! XXXXXXX

Well, I've never heard of eating the placenta, but I have heard of placenta pills. I'm getting them made once i have my baby. They make them at the maturnity center I attend. They said that once i have the baby they let the placenta sit and dry up then they crush it until it's in a powder form, after that they put the power into the capsules. So that's what i'll be doing. If eating it is too gross for you ask your doctor if they can make placenta pills instead of you just eating it. I can't imagine eating it.
