Is there any way to try and help for your water to break on its own? There are a million ways to induce labor but I was wondering if there are any ways to help that? I would like for mine to break on its own so I know I will stay at the hospital and not wonder if I should go or not b/c I do not want to be sent home time after time.

hmm i dont think you can get your water to break on your own... only after so many hours of contractions wil the doctor break it for you when its safe.

No...I don't want to break it on my own....just want to know if there are ways to help it break on its own rather than having the doctor do it.

I was susposed to be induced, I got the first gel at 12.30 and the doctor told me he would break my waters once I was around 2-3cm, well one look at that big hook was enough!!! One look and my waters broke themselves lol, I heard s_x can help rupture your membranes,
