S_x has gotten me dialated alot. I had s_x and in a day i was closed to 2 cm about a week or two later i had s_x again and im now 3 Cm

Hi, I am 40 wks and 1 day. I haven't tried the s_x thing yet but if nothing happens soon. I WILL! I am 2 cm dilated. I don't want to be INDUCED! I had my NST yesterday and everything looks GREAT! I am VERY NERVOUS about labor and delivery.

S_x worked for us.... we made love at about 10pm and shortly after 11pm I went into labour! I was 6 days early.

I am 40 weeks and 1 day and i have been having s_x through my whole pregnancy and every second day lately and it has done nothing for me for starting labour or contractions. I also walk every day. I personally think there is nothing that can be done to make the baby come faster. Its all up to the baby when he wants out. :)

i had s_x with my first child and had her 7 hours later, i'm 37 weeks and 5 days so i'm going to try it tonight, it seems to get things going

Oh yeah it worked for me too, I think, and it was fun! I think my hubby has a bit of a preg fetish... my last week before delivering was very interesting!

it worked with my first child, but with my second i was having s_x up to 4 times a day and it still didnt bring my labour on. i think it is just up to the baby when it is ready to come out it will.

my husband and i have been having so much s_x we took all the fun out of it. im 38 weeks and 2 cm dialated. we plan to keep going with it just incase it might work this time but so far, no luck

im due on the 29th june and really fed up. ive tried everything to kick start my labour and nothing is happening at all. s_x did not work for me.

are there any teas i can drink to help start my labor?

One thing that I tried when I was 37 weeks pregnant was I had s_x with my boyrfriend and then didnt get up right away, then I went for about a 45 minute walk afterwards...and i didnt go into labor but it did something because about 2 hours later I was having contrations 2 minutes apart for about 2 hours or so, went to the hospital and everything, but then they stopped! so i think it definately can help jump start something....even though it hurts like hell afterwards! I still have no baby and i am now 39 weeks, and i can not wait, it seems like FOREVER!!!

The only thing about s_x inducing labour is that the man has to be good at it... LOL.. my doctor said its the female orgasim that helps bring on labour. have fun .. for my last one i had s_x and drank rasberry tea.. and she came the next night at midnight

We had s_x when I was 1.5 cm dilated everyday for 4 days and it did not do anything, I still had to be induced

Also helps to ENJOY the s_x. has same affect as nipple stimulation. Will make the uterus contract which is what you want at this point. So if youre not enjoying it, don't bother.

Get a grip - can't believe all the fuss about you guys desperate to have baby on or before due date - even if it's overdue by 2 weeks, if they monitor, chances are things will be fine! Let nature take its course! (Although with our last baby, 2 weeks over and facing induction, all the tricks on the same night - a comedy show, small gla__s of red wine, curry and s_x - didn't shift him!!)
