Oh gosh I'm in your boat...I'm scheduled to be induced 10/19 and I was induced with my first boy and would love to go on my own before the induction. I would walk a couple times a day for awhile. I have heard that if you get on the ground on your knees, spread your knees apart about shoulder width apart maybe a little further than shoulder width, bend down, stick your b___t out behind you and sway from side to side...try it for several minutes at a time several times a day. My dr with my first pregnancy told me to do this to get the baby to move down in the birth ca___l because at the time my son was at station -2....after doing that several times a day for less than 48 hours the baby moved from -2 to +1 so it looked like it worked. The other position was to get down on your elbows/forearms and knees, put your head down by your hands and forearms on the floor, stick your b___t up in the air, and sway from left to right for several minutes at a time. You would do this one first and then the other position after that each for several minutes at a time. It worked with me. Maybe moving the baby further down would help you some. I'm tryin to look for more ways to move the baby down further. Let me know what happens. Sway slowly.

Ok that sounds like a plan for today and tomorrow. I really had high hopes of going on my own but nothing yet...just a few brax. hicks and that is about it. We walk in the evenings so maybe the positions will help move the baby down some more and get things going. We are sure anxious to meet this baby but if all else fails it's only 2 days away before induction right? I can handle two days.....lol but I'll keep trying in the mean time.

Good luck! I know you'll be busy with three kids but if you get a chance let me know how everything goes! I'm sure the last thing you'll want to do is get on the computer and post with three kids running around!

I actually have to be on the computer...I'll have my final cla__s online starting Oct. 10th. I also homeschool my 5 year old too so it is hectic around here at times. I am just praying that it happens by itself this time....my other two were induced and I had not made progress with them until the induction. Everything with this baby has been early...the dilation and effacement and the lost plug and all so I do still have a little hope. But I am trying to take things easy and stay relaxed while still trying to ease into labor on my own.
