I lost mine after an exam and an embarra__sing false labor trip to the hospital...didnt come home with baby and Im 38 weeks, good luck

I will be 35 weeks on thursday the 5th of may, and I noticed I had lost a moderate amount of mucus. I would like a bit more information.

I am 38 weeks today. I had my weekly doc appointment last Monday. She checked me and told me that I was 1cm dilated. She then told me that I was full term and asked me if I wanted her to stretch my cervix. I told her go ahead and do it. The very next morning I had lost the major part of my mucus plug and two days later I'm still losing my plug. I was contracting every 30 minutes yesterday but the labor and delivery said it was up to me to come in. Normal they don't want you there unless your 3 to 5 minutes apart. I'm sooo anxious to have my baby but I know that he won't be ready until he's ready.

i am 38 weeks today and i had a bloody show yesterday morning about three o clock and have been losing mucus here and there and contracting alittle bit also but what really confused me is that last night i was laughing with my boyfriend and all of a sudden he told me that i was leaking from my right b___st and sure enough i was is this normal before the baby is born?

Iam into my 36wk, I lost my mucus plug yesterday, my doc said ok, now we wait. I heard that you can go into labor the next day or weeks from now. Good Luck

I am 36 and a half weeks and I lost my plug the day of my first cervical exam. It was HUGE! My doc told me I was going to bleed because she saw blood on the glove she had on her hand. I was not worried about it. Since then I have been losing more of my plug here and there and its more clear and snotty looking...sorry if thats TMI but I have not dropped any and I dont really feel like labor is near. I was 1cm dialated the other day. I am hoping to be at least 2-3 by my next appointment this week but we shall see. If I am progressing well, my doc is going to induce me on June 3, which is 11 days earlier than my due date. Good luck ladies!

Hello, I have also been losing some of my mucus plug I think. I have been pa__sing a brown mucous over the last couple of days. I am kind of scared because I am only at week 13. I also pa__sed some brown mucus at week 10 and 11. I was wondering if anybody has any advice for me? My doc has told me to be on bed rest for at least 2 weeks. What else could I do?

im about 39 weeks now, and i lost mine(i think its what it was, at least i hope so) about 2 days ago, and have been having contractions a bit more often and they changed location and hurt a bit more. but mine was weird looking and im sure they all are but everyone keeps talking about it being blood tinged...mine was completely clear and a huge goop of jelly looking c___p that fell out onto my ankle when i stood up from the bathroom. i dont see what else it could be so im not too worried, other than the fact that it was huge, easily the thickness of a coke can...is this normal to have so much?

I have the same thing and im due tomorrow. I think mine is the mucus plug too, but everyone is telling me that it should have a blood tinged color, but it don't. I have 2 other children and their mucus plus were both bloody. So im not sure what it is. Good luck though!!! ~Mother Of 2~

my doctor says i'm not pregnant, but i lost my mucus plug, leaking b___st milk and gaining weight, what is wrong with me?

I started losing mine yesterday, and its still coming out. Heather: why is your soctor inducing you 11 days before your due date?

MONIQUE- you may need to see an endocronologist- it could be elevated levels of certain hormones or thyroid problems. Your Dr can do some blood tests to see if this is the case.

dont be worried. everyone is different. when i lost minbe it waqs at once but even after it came out it still was two weeks until i delivered my son!!!

Im am 37 weeks pregnant as of tomorrow... and I think I have been possibly loosing it slowely... because it did look like how it was described in some of these answers, but it is just thicker clear liquid, I just thought it was increased dischange to tell you the truth, but it probably was part of the mucus plug. I am so excited to get this baby out and meet him....and sick of being pregnant already!
