My came out a little then one day It came out in one huge glob and landed on my leg.

I am 37 wks and 4 days 1-2 cm dialated and 30% efaced as of last thursday. I just lost my mucus plug yesterday, but I haven't had any real signs of labor. I have been feeling more nauseous everyday and overall I just feel aweful. Is this part of early labor or is it normal?

No it doesnt have to all come out at once. My friend just had her baby 3 weeks ago. She lost what she thought was all of her mucus plug when she was like 36 or 37 weeks but then lost a lot more 3 days before she had her baby. She asked the doctor and they said it was perfectly normal.

So, how can you tell if its your mucus plug or is it just supposed to be obvious. Sorry if I sound stupid but I've never been pregnant before so of course there's a lot I don't know. Can it be kinda thick and milky and just be discharge? That's what I have going on but it comes out kinda like a little flush of it at a time. It's really white tho....its supposed to be like snot looking right?

I think my mucus plug just came out. What color should it be. Mine was this yellowish greenish white. Everytime I wiped more and more came out...is this my mucus plug?

I had the same problem, mine came out in large globs the first few days and then tiny amounts after that. It's perfectly normal.

i had my membraes sweeped last monday and the next day i lost mine so i thought. hhaa i wiped and was like eww waht the hell the biggest globs iever seen i sat on the toilet for an hour while it came out. than every day since than its still there is that normal like i have ALOT . at this point im starting to wondering where the baby is in there than . haha. its alot whenever i go to the bathroom more comes out the same as before and i have to go every 30 mins to change my light day because its getting on it. but its more runny now is there a chance im loseing fluid with it to ?? its not as mucosy as before . anyone have and ideas. im over do and like i said the dr sweeped my membraes also.

This is gross, but I have to ask. I lost a thick big glob of off white stuff. I'm still having it, but not as much at a time. How can you tell the difference between abnormal/excessive leukorrhea and your plug?

Lastnight, i had an orgasm, and when i went to the bathroom, i wiped down there, and it looked like snot, and i wiped again, and a small glob of mucus came out, it was yellowish, i have been contracting all week... one time for two days straight (The sharp contractions starting from my back leading to my front that won't go away even if i move around, the pain just gets worse)... I woke up this morning, didn't see anymore mucus... IS THIS MY MUCUS PLUG?

Amy, Yes I've had the same problem for 3 weeks now. This is my 3rd pregnancy and nothing is the same as before. I'm not going to worry until more contractions start or water breaks. As long as your not cramping or bleeding you should be fine. How far along r u? I'm 37 weeks.

im 39+5 weeks pregnanct due oct 15 and on tues oct 11 my doctor stripped my membranes and tjis moring i lost my mucous plug which was brown tinged with blood and im already 3 cm dilated and 80% efaced and baby is at 0 station does this mean labor is around the corner for me?

i am not sure what a mucus plug looks like long stringy clear thing came out , i am 6 mths, and have problems carrying.

I am 32 wks pregnant and think that I am losing my plug. I am not too sure in anything though and I think I may deliver in December even though my due date is in January. Is this normal fo someone so close?

Tae, actually it can happen that you loose your mucus plug so soon... i lost mine about 6 weeks before i had my son.

I am 39 weeks pregnant with my third child and at my last appointment on Wed. dr. said I was 1.5cm dilated, and last night I lost a huge amount of my mucus plug,this morning just a little, no bleeding, my contractions are pretty regular and getting alot stronger, what can I expect now?
