Hey penny sounds like me and you are having the same problem but this is my second and im 35 weeks too and saw my doc. today she said that it could come any time. I had the same kind of discharge and she said it was my plug,also the baby droped. Im due on oct 4th too

So if the baby dropped..How long does it take for labor to start. From yesterday, I am just feeling very light and easy to breathe..Getting great sleep as well..Seems like all the weight have gone (Seriously) I don't feel like I am carrying any extra weight..I find it strange...!!..Is it normal to feel like this..I am 40 weeks tomorrow..Arghh this baby is going to make my cry!!!

I had the bloody show thing, I'm pretty sure I did. I just had a glob of green mucous streaked with bright red blood(eew). I didn't have it one time I've been having it almost everytime I use the restroom. It didn't smell like anything at all. It was literally odorless. I think if it smells foul than you definetly have an infection. By the way I've just been getting back pain at night and gastrointestinal cramps. nothing constant. It always goes away and I feel like me again. I'm 41 weeks tomorrow...

well today is my due date and i am officially 40 weeks. ive been having a lot of discharge and i am not sure if i been losing the plug too. i went to check with my doc thursday about the smell, and they told me that it was completely normal. i was shocked. it really didnt smell to great either. ive been feeling alot of pressure in my b___t, back and uterus, but when i checked the doctor told me that they werent even contractions. i dont know. if i did have one it was pretty mild and to me it felt a little bit more intense. i am that i am to deliver soon. has anyone delivered after their due date and does this mean that the date you conceived was not accurate? my date was dec. 11th when i conceived supposedly but my ultrasound said that the baby's size was four days after that. is the ultrasound correct? cause that would be impossible if it were. thank you and good luck to you all impatient in waiting just like me :)

i was just wondering if the mucus plug has to have pink or red streaks in it? with my last i lost my plug but it was pink. Last night i had something when i wiped but it was white and clear and mucusy. i was just wondering if anyone else had something like this

So I am 40 weeks today..Feeling very upset.. All this time I was waiting for Sep 3 and now I don't know how long to wait. I had my first ultrasound at 8 week and it gave me due date Sep 3. The 20 week ultrasound gave me end of sep. My doctor followed the first ultrasound and all the measurements are consistant with the first one...Hopefully its not long when we all have a healthy baby! Can't wait to see my first one!

I'm also 40 weeks today!!! Yesterday my doctor did an exam and said that I'm not dilated but my cervix is soft . I was quite dissapointed...My baby droped about 3 weeks ago. Last night i decided to speed things up a bit and me and my fiance made love. (we try to do it every 2-3 days) Right after I had bright red bloody discharge. (didn't happen before!) I called doctor this morning she said it's nothing. Today I noticed twice on my panty liners this brownish snot type of thing, pieces of it. I guess it's the mucus plug. Definitely not just some discharge, i even played with it to see how long I can stretch it before it breaks apart :-) I really want to have this baby soon. But like my not so optimistic doctor said it can be still 2 weeks away. It's my first baby and I've heard that boys like to stay there longer then girls. I'm going to have a boy:-)

Katrina, maybe you will have your baby soon with my first baby she was late and I was dilated to a one and never changed til they induced me almost 2 weeks later. I had my 2nd daughter about 6 weeks ago and she came a week early I lost my plug the 14th of July and went into labor 2 days later. Sounds like your losing your plug alright your little one will be here soon. Good Luck Sweets!!:)

40 weeks today and still no baby. been having alot of mucus lately. seems as though its been like that for 2 weeks. tried the raspberry tea leaf last night and my uterus was contracting more and more of the plug came out. i think that my plug regenerated. i just want this all over with already.

I am 40 weeks 1 day and just waiting. Finally, I decided to eat pineapple..I don't think I can finish eating the whole pineapple as I find it too heavy for some reason... I am scared to try anything else. Hopefully baby will decide to come out soon...Hopefully doctor will tell me what to do next in my next appointment...

It's getting kind of funny. Today I was walking around the shopping mall buying some more things for the baby, I had a lot of people asking me-"Oooo, so when are you due?" I kept saying -"Yesterday!," and people just think I'm kidding! :-)))

What color is your mucus plug?
