Yes, the pencil test does work. It's really creapy actually. I have done it to my self about 50 times now and it says i will have 2 boys. i have done it to my boyfriend of 2 1/2 yrs about 25 times and it says 2 boys. i thought i would test it on friends and family who have already had kids and it was never ever wronge. my grandma had 8 kids and it did every single kid in a row. i have done it to about 50 people and it works. and the scariest part about it is, at the end it just completely stops. we did it with a fan and also outside on a windy day and it just dead stops. it works but really creepy.

it didn't work for me. It said the two that i have and it said that i was gonna have a girl..low and behold a boy popped out on friday.

I am a firm believer in this test. It showed on me that I will have girl, boy, boy, boy, girl. I have had the first 3 and a miss carrige that must be a boy so the only one left is a girl, but the problem is that my husband got a vasectomy about 2yrs ago. but the test says I will have another girl, also shows the same on my husband.

I've tried it on myself & my friends. It said i'm having a boy when I was only 15 weeks and my doc confirm it at my 24 weeks. On my sister, the test said she has 4 boys, 1 girl then followed by another 2 boys and in real life, my sister had 2 abortions, then give birth to 2 boys & 1 girl, and after then miscarry 2 times, all in sequence so I would say the test is so far accurate to me. And yes I did try on man but the pencil will stay still & won't move. =)

My arm gets so tired from holding the pencil over my wrist. It does seem to be accurate though. I just can't hold the pencil long enough to keep it going. I can get through the first two and then my arm can't take it. It takes about five min. just to get through the first two. Any suggestions?

I dont use the pencil. I just use the needle and thread...it was correct with my first girl. I am pregnant again and everything in me is telling me that I am having a baby boy this time. I used the needle and thread and it said that I will be having a boy. If it shows to be correct on this one again. Then I will be having 3 boys and 2 girls by the end of my pregnancy days. But, what I want to know... it's in my generation to have twins.....how can the needle tell you if you are having twins? Does anyone know?

I have another question, If anyone knows please write back. I did the thread and ring test. It is still saying I will have one girl, but my husband had a vasectomy 2 years ago. It also shows one more girl on him also, could that be true.

i need to try this you put the needle in the pencil so that it goes completely throught the eraser or goes through the end of the eraser till it hits the end of the pencil please help?????

Better yet put your wedding ring on a peice of thread if it goes side to side it means girl. If it goes up and down it means boy. If you hold it there for a while it will show you how many you will have all together. Also if it goes in a circle at the end it will start over agian.

yes. i did the needle test on my stomach and on the back of my hand. Both said I am having a boy. Low and behold I went to my ultrasound and they said I am having a BOY. From what this woman says at my work she has done it for everyone of her grandchildren and it has always been right. She is the one who did the test on me... LOL

I did the pencil test and it said boy then girl, I already have a little boy and am pregnant now, so does it mean I will have a girl this time?

I used this idea to see if I was having a girl, it said that I was but then I went for my appt to find out the s_x and low and behold it is a boy. It maybe true for some, but not always for others...

Yes, I absolutely believe this test works. Once we heard about it with my moms last pregnancy, we did it on EVERYONE. It has been right everytime! It does even pick up on miscarriages (which was hard for my gramma bc she had 4). I am sticking to it until I see it be wrong. It says I am having a girl and so we will see Thursday if I am! I believe that I am with all of my heart :)
