I say that is works........I will soon (hopefully) be able to tell you 100% I have 2 boys & I am 15 weeks pregnant now & it says I am having a girl. I should get a sono in the next month or so. So, we will see what that tells. I know you cannot be 100% until it is born, but it sure has me!!!

I THINK THE PENCIL TEST SHOULD BE DONE BY THE PREGNANT PERSON, PROVIDING THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON. ANYONE KNOWING THE PROCEDURE OF THE PENCIL TEST, MIGHT SUBCONSCIOULY START THE PENCIL SWINGING FOR A BOY AND GIRL. ONCE A PERSON KNOWS HOW THE TEST IS DONE SHOULDN'T DO IT ANYMORE AS THE POWER OF SUGGESTION IS NOW IN PLAY!

i think the thread and pencil test should only be done by the one who is pregnant, providing she knows nothing about the test. once the procedure is known, the power of suggestion comes into play, which could make the test inaccurate!

Hey ash, i've tried it, on my mom first and it worked from the first child she had all the way up to me, it went boy,boy,girl. I also had my mom try it on me and i am 13 weeks pregnant right now, i had a miscarriage at 8 weeks for my first and the test tells you what your miscarried baby was, i guess my first was a boy and now i'm having a girl and it worked. I highly recommend you should look at a chinese conception calender, that also worked for me! try it hun, good luck sweetie!

Yes the pencil test is VERY accurate!!!! Everyone who I've tested has had what the pencil says. Ultra sounds proved the pencil test was right. Now pregnant women at work want me to do the pencil test on them

I believe it is accurate I've had it done to me twice and both times it was right!

How would the pencil moves if the woman is having twins (both boys or both girls)?

I had the thread and rings test and it said girl and I had a girl. I knew I was having a girl and everyone under the sun guessed boy (we kept gender a secret).

I have seen this done many times with accurate results, however my results were wrong during my last pregnancy. It said I was having a girl and I had a little boy. It said the same for my sister and she had a boy as well. I wouldn't put to much stock into this if you really care, get an ultrasound.

I know that it sounds so weird but i have done it complete strangers and it has been right on. I have done it to alot of people and it hasn't been wrong yet. If you don't beileve it try it on someone you will be absolutly amazed. It is so interesting how it works.

I just read the other things people have put on this and when i have done it, it starts right off it doesn't swing in a circle first. the way I do it is tie a string to a needle and stick the needle into the eraser of pencil that is sharpened. then wrap any extra string around your finger, leave enough string to allow it to move freely. then put your elbow on a table and have the pencil hang off of your finger. have the person your doing it on put there hand on the table with there wrist facing up(knuckles down) then you hold the pencil still and let it start it will go by itself it doesn't swing to indicate anything. i have 3 boys and it will swing side to side across my wrist and when it slows down thats when you count it as one child then when the pencil starts again you count it as your second and so on it will go in circles to indicate girls. I had a lady come into my store and tell me about this I thought there was no way this could be acurate so when i tried it on myself and it said 3 boys and 1 girl i was excited and had to see if it worked, so I have tried it on lots of people even people that i don't know and it has been right, i don't know how to explain it but it does work. I have a sister who's mother in-law is into lots of interesting things and she did this same type of thing using crystals and it said the same thing the pencil did. From what I understand it has to do with the energy your body gives, I actually just went to a family reunion and was talking to an aunt about it and she had it done along time ago and forgot what it had said so I did it on her and it was right, well once everyone seen it they all wanted me to try it on them and so I did it on like 20 adults who have had children and it was right on everyone of them including the spouses. I have done it on my mom she has 6 girls and the last is a set of twins and on the twins it just does really big circles. I have even done it on miscariges and it does indeed count them, I even did it on my mother in law who can't have children of her own and the pencil didn't move, it also didn't move on my father in law either so I consider the pencil a pretty awesome trick.well I would recommend everyone try this because it's very entertaining.

Can the results of the pencil test change over time? A girl I work with did it over a year and a half ago and it said I would have one boy. Well, I have my one boy but I just tried it and it said boy, girl, girl. How do I know what is right? I really hope I'm right because I want more than one child. Please help!

Yes it is! It said I would have 1 girl even before i was pregnant and sure enough I am having a girl!!!
