does anybody know how long after you have the pinkish show does labor begin?

It could start in a day or it could be a week, or longer... It's just another one of those things that show your body is preparing for labor, but don't really tell you any specifics. Sorry that's not more help, but good luck with your labor and delivery!

With my second child I lost my mucus plug about two or three weeks before labor. A friend of mine lost hers in October and had her baby on Christmas. So...you never really know. With my first, I lost my mucus plug and that same night I went in with contractions five minutes apart. You just never know.
