Think Doc Stripped My Membranes

Went yesterday, and as he was checking me for dilation, he did something else! I was caught off guard by the pain and wasn't paying too much attention to what he was saying. There was ALOT of pressure and stinging, and I think I heard him say he was stripping my membranes? When he was done, there was a little bit of , and all day yesterday after this, I had contrations off and on. Does this sound like he actually did?

Yes.....For some reason sometimes they don't tell you they are doing it. When I went in he did it and I had to ask him if he just stripped my membranes. I didn't have any pain though. Sometimes hs/she will stretch your cervix out a little....didn't hurt me though. He did either/or....you should be having your baby soon.
