I'm 20 and have no children, though I want to after I've got a college degree, a good job, and a husband. I was wondering what all you women who have had babies think about having all those people staring at you in a delivery room. I can't imagine a bunch of people staring at my most intimate area and thinking they have a right too. I don't like the idea of strange people getting to touch me whenever they feel like it, even if they are doctors. Do you ever feel objectified?

I was 20 when I had my daughter and I was pretty nervous about the aspect of labor and everyone who was going to see me in my "glory". I was nervous when I got to the hospital, and after I got my epidural, I truly could have cared less. I suppose I got into the mindset that these doctors and nurses see it all, every single day, and if it takes the whole freaking world seeing me to get the kid outta me, then I'd do it. :o)

Siouxie when you are in labor its really the last thing on your mind. Remember the labor and delivery staff has thousands of women in all their glory, and they won't be judging you. Good decision on waiting until your life is settled. When the time comes I'm sure you'll make a great Mom.
