I am almost 7 weeks pregnant and have a very bad cold. Any suggestions? So far my doctors have told me to stay away from all medications. This started as allergies that has turned into a cold.

If your nose is plugged try a nasal mist, just squirt it up your nose! If you have a fever, take Tylenol regular. Only 1% or so will go to your baby, however, my pharmacist suggested to not take any cold or flu medications, because there are unconfirmed risks of your child developing Cleft Palate and such. I always suggest talking to your pharmacist, they seem to more about meds., than Dr.'s do!
