Could You Still Be Pregnant Whe Hcg Levels Drop

Ifound out a couple of weeks ago that i was pregnant, aweek later i started bleeding so i went to the doctors and they did a u/s scan which shown a sac but nothing inside! they took some hcg tests the same day and told me i had to wait 2 days before my results, i went back and my hcg was at 1500 they took more blood and the same day i got my results which said that they had dropped to 500.They say that i have already miscarried & they want me to go back in 2 weeks for a pregnancy test and another u/s scan! can anybody enlighten me as to what might be happening- is this normal procedure having to go back for scan after they have told you that they think you may have already had a miscarriage?

they probably want to wait and see if you pa__s it. Please be warned that you will probably shortly experience cramping and heavy bleeding. If you haven't bled or pa__sed anything they probably want to see if it's still in there. You might have to get a d&c where they go in and take everything out. I am very sorry for your loss, you are not alone.
