Finally Pregnant But Confused Bout Beta Levels

So I jus found out a week ago that i was pregnant after trying for a yr. Well my beta or hcg levels were 62 7days ago and today they were 1884 i was just wondering if it is normal for it to go up that much or if there is a possiblity of a twin pregnancy.. anyway any information would be helpful thanks!

Congratulations! hCG levels vary enormously from one pregnancy to another. The reading goes from under 5 to 100,000 at the end of the first trimester. Your levels are exceeding the rule of thumb about doubling every few days. I guess that rules out ectopic and raises the chance of twins a bit, but I don't think you can count on it. Were you taking meds to stimulate ovulation?
