Ovulation After Coming Off Pill

Not sure if there is a discussion already, i have looked but can't see anything recent?? I have come off the pill(after 2 yrs) to try and conceive. I had a small period 3 days after stopping it, a few days ago(mid cycle) i had a lot of pain for about half a day then thick ewm when i went to the loo, it was slightly discolured, was this my body ovulating just thought it may take longer for my body to adjust to coming off pill. I also BD the day before I got the pains.
Could my body ovulate so soon after coming off pill?

Everyone is different. Some women take several months to become fertile again, but it sounds like you might have ovulated the first cycle. Best of luck!
