My friend thinks she is pregnant. She is a virgin but played very rough with her boy friend and he spilled sperm on her.

Tell her to calm down - she is not the first to go through this. A woman can get pregnant if s____n is spilled on her v____al area to where the sperm can swim inside. It would have to happen close before her ovulation day, 14 days before her next period is expected. She is more likely having an upset cycle resulting from the emotional shock of the experience. Thanks Granpa Viv. Her period has been irregular since the day she saw the first. She could go six months with a flow. I wonder when she should take the test then. She took one a day after the spill and was negative. Thanks again.

There is no point in taking a test until two or even three weeks after the spill. Since she ovulates only once each 6 months, the chance of pregnancy can be divided by six. She probably needs to invest in her own condoms as this situation is going to repeat. Good luck!
