Me and my husband have not been having s_x for a few weeks becouse i am waiting for my appointment to get b/c and one of my friends told me it would be safe to have s_x while on your period. Well i know it sounds bad but we did twice and now i am worried that my friend is wrong. so my question is can you get pregnant on your period and if so what are my chances?

Normally NO you can't, but in saying this it completely depends on your cycle. Unless you have hormonal abnormalities you always ovulate 14 days BEFORE your next period. If you had a 28 day cycle then you would ov on day 14 so no you couldn't get preg while bleeding. But if you have an extremely short cycle, you would ov much sooner after your period so any s_x closer to the end of your period could result in pregnancy. If your cycle is fairly normal don't worry too much about getting preg while having a period & just enjoy not having to wear condoms. Hope this helped.
