i am 6 days away from period if it starts when it should if i was still on pills, is this still too early to take a HPT? i can't wait much longer, it's killing me i have some symptoms but i wonder if it is all just in my head?

If you just came off the pill, there's no way of knowing when you ovulated, unless you get an ovulation pain or follow cervical changes and BBT. Take a test when your period is more than a few days late or if the symptoms increase markedly. Some women don't test positive for weeks.

You can take a first responce test (I'm sure there are ohters also ) that can be taken up to 5 days early. I have irregular periods and took one on the earliest day that I could and got a positve result. If you don't try again a couple of days later.
