For three days i had a strong metallic taste (on and off) in my mouth and had a feeling of nausea. Then this morning - the day after my period was due - i got my period. im confused because this would have been our second pregnancy and was sure that the symptoms i was feeling were related to pregnancy. Did the egg fail to attach or was i never pregnant to start with?.....

Is it definitely your period? Is it light, as that could be implantation bleeding? Otherwise it was probably a chemical pregnancy, meaning the egg didn't form properly.
