14 Years Old With A Planned Pregnancy

Before all the comments come about me "ruining my life", understand that this baby is planned and it's an absolute miracle that he/she is here. I'm 14 and i'm 8 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I have a loving, and adoring boyfriend, who is with me every step of the way. He works full time, 5 in the morning to 6 at night, $36 an hour. Then also has a part time job and bring about $600/$700 a week. He does have an apartment, and a car. Already, i'm on his medical insurance and he takes me to all my doctor appointments. I have volunteered at a day care. Ages 3 months to 2 years. I have two years of high school left. (I go to a charter school.) The school is for school dropouts, pregnant moms, people who want a second chance, and a early graduation. They offer a daycare center for the babies. My boyfriend and I have literally, EVERYTHING planned out. There is just one issue. Everyone that has had a kid and isn't married yet, How did you tell your mom/dad? My parents are divorcing in January. (Thank God.) I'll being staying with my mom. We have a very close relationship. I want to tell her so bad, and I know she'll be disappointed, but I just don't know how to break it to her. Any ideas...?

Sorry about your home life situation. I know how upsetting that can be. Your guy is several years older than you are. Have you covered the legal aspects of him having s_x with a minor? Your mom does not need any more worries as she goes through her divorce, but your situation has to be taken into account as she plans for the future. Please sit down with the kitchen table between you and break the news straight up. "Mom, I know this is not the best time for you to have to handle this, but I'm pregnant!" Best of luck!

You are not yhe only one with a planned pregnancy at a young age. I am 15. My boyfriend and I are both full time workers my pay is less than his but he is also older like your boyfriend. I found out today that I am 5 weeks pregnant. We planned this aswell . But as u are I can not think of a way to tell my mom or dad.

How early could you girls tell you were pregnant? What kind of symptoms did you have? It's been 5 days and yesterday I felt SO sick that I couldn't stand up. And i've been having mild cramping.. I am 15 too. I just don't know if these could be symptoms. I WAS ovulating at the time..

Leah, implantation starts about five days after ovulation, and that would include some cramping. Some of the other signs could follow in the next days. Test when late or light using first morning pee. GL!

My boyfriend and I planned my pregnancy too. It's been hard but we're both working hard to provide for our son. My mom was supportive cause she was a pregnant teen too.

Congratulations on your son! Tell your mom as soon as possible. I never got a chance to tell mine.. Take her out to dinner, somewhere nice, and just tell her straight forward. Don't beat around the bush, and waste time because then she'll just be annoyed.
