Normal Or Not -pg120543687773

I'm currently 36 weeks, and last night I noticed that I had leaked a small amount, smaller than a teaspoon, of clear, really runny fluid. I didn't think to much of it, since it was such a small amount. I went to bed, and this morning after walking around for a bit, it happened again. I have been losing my mucus plug in bits since the 2nd trimester and I can tell this is definetly not my mucus plug that I have been leaking. I am not having contractions, except the odd BH every so often. Could it be my water slowly leaking? I sure hope not. Although my doctor told me at 35 weeks that if I went into labor he wouldn't be worried because I have had such a good pregnancy. Anyways. Can anyone tell me if this is normal to have happen? I don't remember having it with my daughter Thanks..

My discharge goes through cycles when it is really runny. I started wearing panty liners because it bothered me so much. Really though if I were you I'd get it checked out. They can do a simple swab test and tell you in minutes if it's amniotic fluid based oh the pH level. Even if it is amniotic fluid, at this point it's no big deal if it's a slow leak, you just have to avoid certain things that could cause an infection, or you just might get to see that beautiful new baby sooner than you thought. :) Good luck.

my discharge also seems liquidy at times, but at such tiny amounts it doesn't bother me. I agree with Sarah, you could always get it checked out if you are still worried, but it does seem normal to me.

Thanks for your input. I have a doctor's appointment next week, so I will ask then if it hasn't gotten worse than this.
