You girls are probably right! I'm sure its better to be on the smaller side. (definately easier for working!) I just feel like i've waited 30 weeks to get that cute pregnant belly, and i just keep on waiting, but oh well!! There's more important things i have to worry about!! But your right about the rude comments people say! Biting my tongue isn't as easy now a days, but i try really hard to not say what i want to!! Jess thats really exciting that you were at disney! I haven't been there since i was 5! Im dying to go back, hopefully in the next few years! : ) well i hope everyones feeling as good as you can feel for the third trimester!

Just wanted to say hello ladies. I am hearing the whole thing about being gigantic. Some guy said to me today... you are like eternally pregnant. I just said thank you. It was the guy at the pizza shop. I popped really early and then I stayed little for the middle, now I feel like a walking tent. My clothes are too small, my b___bs are now resting on top of my belly.. It's kind of funny!!! As long as the babies are all healthy. It doesn't matter how big we are. It's just going to be easier to lose the weight if you didn't gain it... unlike me... 44 pounds later.... Have a great night girls!!!!

Hey girls- Sounds like everyone is well, just...big! Seriously, I have no clue how I will be getting my shoes on in the near future, I can barely do it now. How are you guys maintaining your bikini area? I can't see down there and I don't want it to get messy (especially w/ a section on the way). Micsmms- I am glad that nothing on the possible kidney issue sounds serious. I'm betting when you go back for the next scan that it looks fine and was just a problem with them getting a good angle on her. I also have to say w/ v____al birth vs section, even though I only have had a section, I was in pain for awhile and unable to get around but my SIL had a vag delivery and she was up and out of bed in a few hours, I was so envious! I had to have section b/c they tried to induce me at 36.5 weeks due to very low fluid and PIH. The induction just didn't work after a day and a half so I didn't have much choice. My doctor said it was my choice this time although she prefers not to do VBAC b/c of the risks to mom and baby. I opted for the section b/c it's safer for the baby. dmdj- It must be very difficult not being self supporting but at least you can financially be out of work for a while. How long have you and DJ been together? jess- what a nice vacation, I've never been there. I don't know if I'd attempt it now, I just don't have the stamina. I don't know how you did it! ebaby- you will probably just pop any day now and suddenly look very pregnant. That's the was I was last time. Tara- sometimes I think with the insults that sign language can say it all if you know what I mean, lol. I have my next scan tomorrow so I can't wait to see how big this guy is. I actually didn;t gain any weight in the last 2 weeks which I found hard to believe. Has anyone else had nausea lately? I never had it in the first trimester (I know, I'm lucky) but it's getting a little annoying now. Hoping nothing is wrong. 7 weeks to go and I have NOTHING done! I am just so tired when I get home, I can't seem to get anything accomplished.

I hear you on having nothing done. We have the nursery b/c its dd's old one, but I dont have the bedding on the crib and dh needs to raise the mattress in the crib b/c its still on the lowest setting from dd. We dont have the swing or bouncy seat or anything put together either. They are all taken apart in the closet. I guess we should do that soon. LOL! about maintaining the bikini area. I just use the mirror and try my best to do it myself. I must b a really funny sight to see me do this. Last time was a few weeks ago and I have to say the results were.... patchy.... LOL!! It didnt work that great but I dont really want to go somewhere for a wax, so I guess I'll just have to keep trying. I know what you mean about wanting to keep it maintained.

ebaby08 - October 15

haha i use a mirror too, for the bikini area! shaving is not such an easy task anymore! I can barely reach the bottom of my legs!

Hey ladies, how is everyone doing? Well I got to have the big talk with our HR person, and I am taking 10 weeks and 2 days off. The first 10 days I have to use vacation time for, but then the next 4 weeks will be at 100% of my salary and the next two after that will be at 80% of my salary. Then I am going to kick in the extra week and a half out of vacation time again. Plus they are going to give me Christmas and the day after at full pay on top of my STD. I have enough vacation so I could have taken the full 12 weeks, but I don't want to miss too much of that time of year because it is when I get to save up hours for vacation or to cash out at the end of the year. So I am very excited. I took 6 weeks with dd and 8 weeks with ds so maybe with my next one I will go for the full 12 weeks? haha. jess, you are one tough cookie for going to disney this far along! I totally can't wait to take the kids there once they are older! Colleen, I have started feeling queasy lately too. I though there was something wrong with me, glad I am not the only one. I never had morning sickness in the first trimester either. The only time I felt sick was when I took my prenatal without eating first. Today I left work because I had some really bad cramps that came and went every 10 min or so. When I stood up for more than a couple of minutes I started to feel very dizzy and decided I should probably not stay at work any longer. The cramps went away for the entire ride home (35 min) and then came back again here and there probably 10 -15 to 20 min apart. They would stay gone if I stayed sitting still. I was thinking it was something I ate at lunch, but the last one happened at like 5:30 so I am wondering if maybe they were Braxton hicks? I have never experienced them before, so I am not positive, but I wasn't ga__sy so I don't think it was what I ate. Any opinions?

Bryandi, maybe it was BH, if you feel fine now... well that's good that you do. My doctor told me that if I have them, and if I fear it's pre term labor- to lay down, rest, and drink lots and lots of water. That should stop the pre-term labor. I bet you were a bit freaked out! I would be... I am totally not ready for her right now! I need 1 month to complete the odds & ends, along with acc_mulate baby stuff from the showers! My house is currently covered with a fine layer of drywall dust. We are almost done with a renno project in order to make room for baby. After this week I should be able to clean the house from the construction, and paint her room. I'm the painter- so I think I'll try that Valspar low-toxin paint, a few fans, open windows, and a mask. I can't stand all of the loose ends right now, guess I'm lucky that I don't have any other children- I couldn't imaging juggling so many things at one time. I don't know how you moms do it that are expecting another! Between the house, the BF, two big dogs, a cat, and my parents... my nerves are at maximum capacity! Can't I just go away for a few weeks and come home to everything peaceful, and ready to go? Oh, and on the topic of "maintaining" down there... I have been getting waxed for years, so l just keep doing that. My esthician said that she has many clients that continue getting waxed, even coming in the day before they have the baby- be it a due date, cesarian, or being induced. I'm so comfortable with her. Every time I go I just say- I have no idea what is happening down there- I haven't been able to see the area in a few months! I'm relying on you to make me presentable! She cracks up... Luckily I'm still able to shave my legs as I hear many can't quite manover it at this point in the pregnancy. I've gained 20-22 lbs so far. I'm starting to feel "uncomfortable". My brain has suffered the most in this pregnancy. I feel like I'm loosing IQ points by the minute.

Colleen-10 months and 2 days really. I got pregnant when we were dating for a little over 3 months. Its amazing how we are still together. His family has been helping me out a lot lately and so has DJ. It must be a guy thing to want to support and protect the woman in their life.

clindholm - October 16

Hi everyone- I guess I will have to work a mirror into the shower. I don't know how I'll juggle it, I'm sure I'm pretty comical as it is just getting my legs done. I don't think I could handle having it waxed by someone although it sounds easier. Bryandi- It sure sounds like the way BH is described (I have no first hand experience) but I would only worry if they became closer together and did not stop. I have also heard the dehydration is a big one bringing it on. What do you do for the nausea? It's really getting to me especially in the morning. I have been forcing myself to eat anyway due to the low blood sugar. micsmms- I'm usually the painter too! My dh is terrible and only does it when I have been pregnant. He's so awkward, I cannot even bare to watch him. I have heard that there are a few "Pregnant Friendly" paints out there, have you chosen your colors? lol on the losing IQ points!!! I agree, I'm really stupid at work, it's getting pathetic. Just got back from my ultrasound and everything looks good, it appears that my lil guy is already 4lbs 6 oz (which is bigger than when my dd was born!). I'm hoping when he comes he will be a ble to go more than 1.5 hours between feedings- it was hell with dd being that tiny. dmdj- Sounds like your bf is a pretty good guy, that is a strain on the relationship getting preg early on and it's wonderful that he is helpful. I'm sure he will be a good daddy.

TaraO - October 18

Hope everyone has a great weekend and for those of you having a shower... have fun!!! I can't figure out when mine is and I am trying... I do not like surprises.... I am a party pooper!!!!

clindholm - October 21

Hi girls, how was everyone's shower? How is everyone else doing? I've been feeling c___ppy lately, between the nausea, headaches and now my ankles are swelling, blah. Colleen

jessb - October 21

Yes I can wait to hear about everyones showers. I hope you all got everything you wanted and needed. Im with Colleen on feeling c___ppier and c___ppier everyday. This pregnancy has been much harder than the first. The night are the worst, I am sooo uncomfortable and wake up at least 2 times a night. But on the other hand I started thinking-this is the last child I am going to have (dh said NO MORE). So this is the last six weeks I will ever be pregnant. The last 6 weeks I have to feel a baby inside of me. The last 6 weeks for dd to be an only child..... So Im trying to think of that stuff before our lives change forever with the birth of this new little one.

micsmms3 - October 21

Jess- you are so hitting a sweet spot with those comments. I don't know weather to be happy or sad about it- that is, carrying a child. Its such an incredible experience. It feels somewhat lonely at times- just because everything (physical and emotional) is inside. I've never been a great communicator- and sometimes I'm just too tired to even try. It is a precious experience and once they arrive life will never, ever be the same again. I'm both excited, and afraid. I think of all the things I'd hoped to do before I had children, but if I tried to accomplish all of those things first- I'd never have children- and I'd likely not do everything on my list either. I guess I'm just hoping that this girl will wrap me around her finger and I won't look back.
