Tina, where do you live? I read on the pool thread about it getting hot. I'm in Texas! It's nice today, not too hot, coudy...I'm hoping for rain. But then again -- it's probably not going to happen. This weather is insane. Last year it rained allll summer long, it was the craziest thing, why wasn't I 8 months pregnant then??? :)

I am in the High Desert of California -I would have to say the ugliest part of California I have seen so far! LOL I grew in San Diego - I never knew how good I had it....it's all desert here brown and pretty ugly - the weather is the worst part....we have no spring and no fall....only blazing heat and freezing cold ok that might be a small exaggeration but it's pretty warm - the one good thing about our weather is that we are hardly ever ever have humidity...which is awesome - I have been to San Antonio in September and it was so humid it was crazy! I like my dry heat that is for sure - we save on our Air Conditioning bill by using a swamp cooler

Yes it is EXTREMELY humid down here. It sucks. I grew up here so I really don't notice it much until someone comes to visit and all they do is complain about the humidity! lol :P I

Samantha - we live in the Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex. So it's not as humid as where you are!!!! But I HATE humidity. Tina, I've been to San Francisco before, but never to southern Cali, so I don't really know what it's like, BUT I loved the north part, the most beautiful place I have seen in this country. We went shopping for plants today and I thought I was going to DIE. I just want to not be pregnant anymore...and I never thought I'd say that after the miscarriages last year, but it's true.

Hahaha, something funny. My dh desided to come over here and check out what I've been looking at, so I told him "pregnancy forum" and he wanted to show his interest by standing behind me and staring at the screen. I went to the main "third tri" forum and asked him which post he wanted to check out the "hemroids" or "the mucous plug". He ran out of the room pretty fast, hahahaha.

Hey everyone, My doctor's appointment went really well. Everything is still healthy...I still haven't gained any weight. HB was still 144 so YAY. Um...I did get checked, I wasn't dialated any but I was starting to efface *dont know how much* but progress none the less. I put up baby shower pictures on my myspace too. *myspace.com/charlibabe* It was so much fun! I didn't really get to much stuff because not many people came, but I still have my family type baby shower to go. Today though I felt really sick and slept like ALL day. Seriously I think I was only up for 2 hrs before going to sleep again. I guess my body finally made me catch up lol. Well still alive and pregnant here..lol just thought i'd give a lil update.

Hi Danielle!!! Welcome :) Yep, we are all getting close and they weather is getting hotter. I live in Missouri so it is pretty much like Texas weather...hot and humid. Not as bad as Louisiana or anything, but definitely not dry heat very often. It's been a wet weekend too so it feels like a sauna out to me. CHARLI, so good to hear the appt. went well! I'm sorry you are feeling ick. I think I've been hit with allergies lately and it's driving me nuts. I don't feel ill, but I sneeze and nose is stuffed all the time especially in the morning. I want to sleep longer but I can't because I can't breathe! It sucks....so I'm getting up at like 6am every day where I was sleeping till 8 before. I NEED those 2 hours :)

Good morning girls! Islept so good with the A/C on at 72 everyone else was probably freezing but I only woke up to pee and was right back out ...m stupid dumb dogs wake me up everyday between 530a and 6am - ARRGGHHH the minute the sun comes up they know or at least they think they know it's time to get up (when I was working it was great I didn't need my alarm clock) now it's just annoying but I am sure I'll take naps regularly now that I am off work...Danielle welcome! We hope we help you with how uncomfortable you are going to be - some of us start threads at night so we can chat .....Sasha - I know regardless of the past a lot of us will soon be wishing to not be pregnant anymore.....LOL ....San Francisco is pretty humid too compared to us - I really dig dry heat if you have to experience heat at least it could be dry...right???? CHARLI - that sucks that you have been under the weather still.....STEF - I am all about trying to sleep as long as possible....but to no avail.....I guess it's just nature's way of getting us ready for when the baby comes and we are up all the time! LOL .....ok I'll check back in later.

I actually slept really really well last night also! FINALLY! I don't know exactly what I did, but something about the way I propped up the pillows made it sooo comfy. I slept thru the whole night! (Well of course except for the waking up to the rest room) LOL at sasha! That's funny that he ran out of the room like that! I'm sure he regrets trying to take an interest in what you were doing now! lol

Ugh, I woke up at 3:30 a.m. last night with terrible contractions, and that was it - no sleep AT ALL. These are supposedly just "second pregnancy Braxton Hicks"...they feel like the ones when I went into labor the first time around. So that's how I knew it was labor...from it hurting so bad. So now I'm just like - ummm, so is this it or what? If this is what BH feel like, then I'm wondering what the actual labor contractions are going to be.... :(

Sasha - I know what you mean - I would like to say that we will just "know" when we go into labor but who knows - I had 2 false labors with my last one before it was real so......I had 2 naps today - hope I can sleep tonight if not hopefully some others will be up since I don't have to work tomorrow....we'll see - getting the boys toys thinned out and organized has proven to be a bigger job than I had anticipated so I'll work on that again tomorow too.

I have a question...does anybody *or has anybody in the past* have to deliver their baby in a different town than what they live in? Where I'm going to deliver my baby...it's about an hour away. I'm not too worried....but then I start thinking...because I'm NOT stressing about it, something is going to happen that I'm not gonna be ready for. LOL I don't know! I'm just wondering if anybody else is experiencing this?

Well, this time around I'm delivering at a hospital that's about 45 minutes away from our house. We live in a small suburban town, and I don't trust their hospital (they told my daughter she had an ear infection when it was just a stomache virus, then told me to come for a repeat pregnancy test WHILE I was miscarrying). ANYWAY. If it's your first then you shouldn't worry about delivering in the car or anything like that, it'll take a while for the labor to progress, unless you are one of those lucky moms that have their babies in 2-3 hours start to finish!
