Depends on how far FAR is. Just keep in mind when the lo gets sick, you don't want to go too far - but you also want to have availability as well.

yeah, I dont think the distance is much of an issue its only a matter of a few miles but the convenience of having the doc be THAT close was intriguing. but I think it would be best to go with the larger practice because of the chance that SOMEONE will be able to help her in bind as opposed to the smaller practice with only two doctors (one of while is a hundred year old guy from india so you cant understand what he is saying half the time) where Im not sure they would ever be able to fit us in.

Heather sounds like you already know the better choice lol - from reading what you said I would go with the larger place myself

lol yeah... I liked the larger place better but I was trying to justify the closer place LOL but I dont want to sacrifice quality health care for my daughter in exchange for a bit of convenience

I wouldnt either - my problem is the place i like doesnt accept the state coverage so I will have to wait til I get a job and ins before I can start taking the baby there which sucks

yeah, hat does suck dawn.... what sucks for me is that when DH comes home I'll have to go back to military hospitals lol.

I will just be glad to be done going to the doctors so d__n much lol I hate it with a pa__sion ...I didnt go today or call and cancel so i have to reschedule I guess ... yuk.

where is everyone today? heather, sounds like your plan is a good one. :) I went with a slightly larger practice that is at the hospital - but it was a recommendation. I like that there are lots of nurses there so if I have a question I can call whenever. We haven't had to go other than my dd's regular appointments yet....but it's nice to know they are close and someone is always around if I need them. I am so freakin tired these days! I can't stand it! My body is just wiped out - I don't know how I can take this much longer! I even went to bed early last night and slept better than I normally do- even without my tylenol pm!

Yeah Heather I was concerned with a family doctor also for my lo. I decided to use the same practice that my neice and nephew go to. There are about 5 doctors there and they have ties with the hospital where I am delivering. It's so hard to find a good pediatrician nowadays, especially one that speaks clear english. Dawn, those cheeaseburgers sound delicious. I'm thinking about ordering one now. Although homemade is always better, we don't have any ground beef in the house right now. So I just wanted to tell everyone that I plan on hitting the lottery on Tuesday and if I do, I'll give each of you lovely ladies a nice chunk of change. The payout is 145 million, so I'll definitely be able to share. K, well we're gonna go order dinner now, be back a little later!

haha well heather and heather lol I didnt go because of my poopie situation - I still have the poops minus the cramping though - so its tolerable but when I got there I wait SO long that I would have def had to go and I didnt wanna i dont like pooing in a public bathroom especially one that is THAT busy ... plus it was pouring rain and 47 degrees out and I was up from 230 am til around 5 so ... the elements were all against it lol I have a u/s on thursday so i may try and schedule to stop in at that same time

I don't think so, I sometimes buy the patties but I will usually just get regular ground beef and put one of those Lipton Soup secrets onion pouches in there. It makes the burgers sooo yummy. I love onions though.

Guess who came home today at 4pm :D He's sleeping in his ba__sinette right now, I think trying to wake up. We were going to chuck e cheese and I called to check on him and they told me he could come home in a few more hours since they had just done his circ_mcision. I was SO excited! Ugh poor guy though. They said his little pee pee looks great but it looks horrible to me, all red, raw, and bloody. It doesn't seem to bother him at all though. I'm gonna go catch up on posts real quick.
