have fun disko! I have my appointment tomorrow. I can't wait to see my doctors face when I haven't had the baby after 3+ weeks of her telling me any day. :) Hey, don't know if any of you remember but I was on the Labor forum and there was a "natural childbirth" post where this girl ripped on me for mentioning the epidural - well, I thought it would die but this Rachel girl got on and ripped that girl a new one AND she actually apologized. I LMAO. I just decided to check it one last time for fun and was totally surprised. ;) Made me feel better. haha..some people need to be nicer on this forum. I want to High5 that Rachel. :)

hey everyone! I'm back - I swear I hate going to that doctors office. It seems pointless to me but I think it is just for insurance purposes or something like that. But tomorrow is the big day for me. Here's to hoping I get taken off bedrest and procardia. Yay! I will feel like I accomplished a great feat of bedrest for how many weeks has it been?ummmm.... Eight weeks. Sheesh it seems like forever. Now watch I will be taken off bedrest and such and then watch I won't go into labor for weeks! LOL but I'm hoping to make it to June 7th too... :-) someones gotta hit that day around here - what a cool birthday that would be! I definitely want to have this baby before june 9th for sure.... That is my birthday and I don't want to be 36 when I have this baby! Is that terrible or what?!? LOL

Disko I was almost the same way about my birthday... I was worried she would come really early and be here before my birthday (may 20th) and I would have been 19 when I had her.. luckily she waited and im 20 now so its all good. not that a few weeks makes much difference it just makes me feel better.

oh wow heather - you brought back so many memories of when I was pregnant with Taylor - sixteen years ago! I was 19 years old and married to her father when I had her. I had Taylor on the day of the los angeles riots - the whole rodney king thing - and I remember holding her for the very first time and telling her how sorry I was that she was brought into such a cruel non-perfect world and that I would do my best to make her little world as perfect as she was! Thanks for reminding me of how blessed I am to have such a pretty little girl that is growing up so fast.

hey gals, it has been forever since i posted. looks like everyone is doing well. we are getting close! anyway, went to the doctor today and still not dialated. i was upset. i feel like i am making no progress although i have contractions and cramps regularly. i am 36 w and 4 d but baby is measuring 38 weeks. dr recommended walking and s_x to move things along. we tried walking. i am sort of afraid to stry s_x since it has been nearly 3 months since dh and i have! poor guy! plus i am huge. i've gained 52 lbs. anyway, i am totally miserable and needed a place to vent. hope this baby comes soon!

hey buckeye! Wow it has been a long time since we talked! Its good to hear from you. All I can say is mother nature will take its course and you will be holding your lo oh so very soon! Hang in there, momma! But I'm sure dh wouldn't mind getting some action! LOL

Yeah amanda and heather - I feel OLD. I think I could actually be YOUR mother Amanda...same with Disko. haha...My step son is going to be 19 on june 6. :) welcome back buckeye! Don't worry about not making progress. Everyone is different and sometimes no progress means nothing. One of my friends wasn't even dilated to 1 and she went into labor 4 days before her due date and had a 6-7 hour labor. Not bad! You could be like me who's been 3-4cm for the last 3.5 weeks expecting it to happen any day and then be disappointed every day.:) June 7 would be so cool but I really don't want to wait that long.

and buckeye - I've gained 54 pounds so don't feel too bad. :) My dh is scared of my belly I'm so huge. :)

oh, and i am so swelled. my hands and feet are huge! Yeah disko- poor dh would love to get some finally! i've just been not interested in s_x in the slightest the last few months. oh well.

my feet and hands are super swollen too - and NO interest in s_x. It's so uncomfortable!! In desperation I tried last week - but it didn't work and it wasn't much fun for me. :)

I guess i haven't gotten that desperate yet fefer! i can't imagine i'd get anything out of it. I also can't imagine why my DH still wants too! haha!

hahaha fefer - I know what you meant! And believe me I already thought that I was old enough to be amanda's mom! LOL now if that doesn't make me feel old than I don't know what would! LOL yeah buckeye I, too, can relate to the totally uninterested in s_x club too! Being on bedrest and not being allowed to kinda played a part though. But I'm almost positive that I will be taking off bedrest tomorrow and I'm willing to do the dirty with dh. Its been like three months - poor guy. What a trooper he is!!! Anyone heard from gabby? Its unusual to not hear from her... hmmmm
