Jeeze I never realized how much we all talk! I wish I had time to read everything... Just wanted to let you all know a quick update. I was looking over some hospital forms that recorded everything that happened during my labor. It turns out I can't trust my fiance to keep track of the time because he was wayyy off. He said I was pushing for about a half hour-- I only pushed for 7 minutes!! I thought pushing for that short of time was unheard of haha. My doctor says she has an unusually strong neck, so she's already able to lift her head up a good amount, but she can't keep it up for very long. Yesterday I was burping her and she turned her head to look at me :)

Heather and Christie you two have fun getting pregnant again by christmas because I refuse! I just have to make it till Thursday for my six week check. I'm a__suming they'll give me something and not make me make another appointment. Congrats raiken! Sounds like you had a pretty good labor. I LOVE the name caleb! I know we'd all love to see pictures if you don't mine when you have a chance. Amanda - I bet that seven minutes probably seemed like a half hour. I was really surprised my son could pick his head up at first too.....especially with it being so big LOL now he lifts it up and looks all around. He's already getting better at getting his hands on his bottle and I don't know if he doesn't like pacifiers or just unintntionally pulls them out. I haven't really given them to him, but they've occa__sionally helped him sleep. fefer - that membrane sweep sounds really promising now. The bambi thing just popped to mind when you said you saw a deer and there were birds chirping lol Well curtis got his b___t kicked in bowling last night haha and I'd never played before. I cheated one game and was kicking his b___t, barking at him, jumping infront of the screen haha I felt like a little kid.

hey girls - got back from the walk -2.5 miles today - and I feel like dying now! My back is so sore! :) The heated seats felt real good on the way home! Now I'm in bed with a hot water bottle trying to figure out how to keep it on my low back while lying on my side. I have to say, hearing everyone ask me when I was due today - and all the " I can't believe you're still pregnant and walking" comments -drove me crazy!!! I need to wear a sign on my head that says OVERDUE, leave me the hell alone! :) haha...Anyways, I'm gonna try to take a nap since I did not sleep one bit last night -and rachel is sick - so guess who's sure to be next...sigh...I'll check in when I wake up but I need some rest!

You go miss walkathon mama! Do you think Rachel might have seasonal allergies and not a cold? My allergies are acting up right now and she sounds a lot like me with the hoarse throat. I've actually lost my voice but it's getting better now. I hope it's just that and nobody else gets sick, especially you! Get some sleep for me :D

Is it normal to have a decrease in appet_te after pregnancy? I know I'm hungry but everything sounds really gross... When food is offered to me I feel like throwing up... I'm worried it might take an effect on my milk supply, she often spits up after eating. I'm starving right now and all I can stomach is some fruit. Also, is it still considered postpartum depression if you're depressed on and off? Yesterday while Elizabeth was sleeping I randomly started crying, I was upset at my fiance for NO reason at all. I felt like he was being a c___ppy dad (he's been great) and he didn't deserve to be in her life... I knew I was being irrational so I decided to try to sleep it off. I was probably asleep for ten minutes when she started crying, and when I woke up I felt as happy as ever and was fine with him rocking her to sleep. I dunno, it's a little strange because I had a really really happy pregnancy so I'm not used to feeling sad about anything. Do I need help..?

amanda -keep an eye on the depression, but it's very normal to be depressed after delivery - your hormones are all over the place. If it starts to get out of control than you need to get it checked out. I was so tired on top of being hormonal that I cried off and on and got p__sed at my husband a lot. :) I just had a shorter fuse. I didn't get a very long nap - I just couldn't sleep and my pevic area was really sore. I just went pee - and big chunks of goo came out. :) Guess walking loosened things up a bit in there. I don't think I'm going to get my 6-7-8 baby but he should come soon. By the way - I only had a bath last night - I was too tired to get busy like Kay did. :) I may have mentioned that but I'm too tired to go back and look to see if I did. Tonight I'm baking some salmon and corn and potatos. :MMMMM!! I'm gonna see if I can talk my nephew into coming over and watching Rachel so we can go see that Adam Sandler movie. :) It will probably be our last chance to get out for a while - at least on a weekend. It's so nice having my sister live close cuz my nephew comes over when Rachel goes to bed and plays video games while we go out. He doesn't have to do anything and we don't have to pay him anything. :) But then once school is out he goes to his moms for the summer - 2.5 hours away - so bye bye babysitter. Still, it's nice 9 months out of the year! 2 more years till he graduates though and then I'll have to work on my niece. My cat keeps following me around everywhere and has to sit on me or near me. When I was trying to take a nap he layed on my hips - they're wide enough these days. :) Too bad he can't learn how to ma__sage a little harder with his paws! Useless cat. - all he does is eat, sleep and barf -kind of like a baby. Allergies - don't think it's that - she's never had them so far and I think she is getting worse. She started getting a slimy runny nose - and is acting more tired and sick. She's still sleeping thank goodness! She was in heaven at the walk today . There were a million dogs at the park for her to play with and lots of little ones. She just runs right up to them and wants to sit and hug them. One dog was barking at her so she tried to feed him some bark from the playground. It was too funny! Oh darn - now she's awake. got to run and change her probably stinky diaper!

Having a baby can take a bit of a toll on your relationship. I blew up at my husband a lot at first because he wasn't really getting up at all with him at night and I was getting NO sleep and I'd just sit there and look at him with his eyes closed and be soooooo p__sed. Your hormones don't go away when you give birth unfortunately lol I think they get worse for a little while, that and the added sleep deprevation make you feel a little off. I have mood swings lol like I'll randomly just feel really happy and mushy like when I came on her and said I love you guys randomly lmao and then last night I was laying with curtis having another mushy moment and felt so happy because I love him so much it almost hurt and I almost started crying.....so two totally opposite emotions at once haha it's ok. I'm so crabby and in such a bad mood when I wake up in the middle of the night but when I pick Ace up I'm so happy to see him and kiss him....all while still totally grouchy at the same time. I think you sound just fine. You aren't thinking any bad thoughts about you or your baby, you just sound a little moody and it's totally normal. Don't feel bad about it.

haha fefer we were watching the playoffs the other night and I don't know if you've seen it but they have these commercials where they take 2 star players from the teams playing against eachother and split their faces down the middle and put them side to side while they say the same thing. They did it the other night with a player and adam sandler looking like zohan and instead of saying the same thing they started arguing with eachother and he was telling the basketball player he needed a new hair do and then the guy ended up with zohan hair. We were both laughing it was such a funny commercial.

I didn't see it but it sounds pretty funny. Every time I see a commercial for that movie I LMAO. Adam Sandler is sooo funny! I like the part where he's giving the little kid a haircut - or kicking the guy in the face. Anyways, I need to laugh right now!! :)
