A friend of mine just emailed me this. It's a hilarious picture of a pregnant husband and wife. I'm laughing by myself, so I wanted to share! I couldn't post the link for you here - it won't let me, but you can go to hahameter.com and check out the Pregnant Couple post (under Funny Finds) – it’s really worth it….LOL

This couple lives in Oregon. It is actually (in my opinion) quite sick. In reality it is no real man. It is a woman who wished to be a man. SHE (important part the news is not mentioning) had a partial s_x change but left in HER girlie parts. Well, Her lover was not able to get pregnant so they decided SHE will carry the baby. The news is having a hayday that the first ever man is PG. I think it is grose and twisted. In my opinion if this woman truely felt SHE was a man SHE would never have offered to have the baby. Real men cannot have babies. There is obviously a women in there still somewhere. Ok, lets open the can of worms:)

Here, here trying! Totally gross!

Yes I agree that the one thing the news always forgets is that SHE isnt actually a MAN - she is a WOMAN - just had b___sts removed but she is still all woman downstairs - so of course she could get pregnant!! I hate how they keep refering to it as the FIRST MAN to ever get pregnant - Um she is basically a b___stless, hairy woman. haha - sorry if that offends anyone.

Wow, tryin44, just a tad closed-minded and self-righteous are we? Nature is not black and white, and unfortunately some people get stuck somewhere in the middle. You wouldn't be so judgemental if it was one of your loved ones or, heaven forbid, you in her situation. Or are you the type of jerk who would disown a family member for being gay?

Kiersten - May 23

LIN, if you're going to jump down throats, might as well include me with Tryin44. It IS wrong and unnatural. Our society has completely distorted marriage/relationships and this is NOT how it was meant to be. God did not create man for man or woman for woman. He created man and then formed woman to be his help meet; his fit. I take pride in being "close-minded" about this. People chose to make these sinful decisions and I make the choice not to a__sociate with them. And yes, I am the type of "jerk" who loves from a distance the family member who has chosen this lifestyle. My son will NOT be led to believe that this is acceptable. Self-righteous...NO. Concerned, YES! Consider the worm can opened...

tryin44 - May 23

I do believe this lifestyle is wrong. My kids know my beliefs. If they choose to live this way, NO I would not disown them in any way. They will however know I in no way condone their lifstyle. My point on this story is that this is NOT A MAN!!!!!! If this WOMAN truely felt she was a man inside she would not have this baby sorry if you don;t like it. Truth hurts. They would do what everyother infertile couple does. YES, the media needs to be honest and point out the facts. In my opinion it never even needed to be mentioned> All it is is another lesbian couple who decided to have kids. Ya know I believe when my last DD was born their was a a lady who had a lot of facial hair maybe I should have called the news:) Just a stupid media played event that most people find dumb and a waste of five minutes of their life.

I must admit that the picture is kinda funny. But why oh why must we turn everything into a judgemental arguement! I think it is stupid to bring up personal views on gay relationships and it makes you look ignorant. It seems to me that you, LIN, certainly have very strong opinions and there is a time and a place to voice them but not on every single thread. I know you play 'devils advocate' alot but geez give it a rest!

amanda17 - May 23

My dad looks more pregnant than I do... but that's just because he has a huge beer belly lol

LIN - May 23

Actually, Kiersten, god did not create man or woman in any way, because there's no such thing as a conscious god. Now, I'm not against religion. People can believe whatever they please, but judgemental and intolerant people like you really give it a bad name. People don't get to choose a lifestyle like this. Just because you don't understand it does NOT make it a choice. Nobody chooses to be persecuted by people like you who (wrongly) think they're better. In fact, it is perfectly NATURAL that they end up this way, just as it is perfectly natural that people end up with Down's syndrome. Nature is not perfect, and anomalies occur. You can raise your son to be an intolerant bigot, but I will raise my son to accept people for who they are rather than try to fit them into his own idea of what they should be and call them "unnatural" if they don't. Tryin44 - why would you say that if she really was a man she would not have a baby? Sorry, but that doesn't follow. If it were medically possible for a man (XY chromosomes) to have a baby (and it probably will be one day), would that make him not a man? I'll agree with you, though, that the media is making a big deal out of it. But who cares? They make a big deal out of events many people find insignificant every day. That's the nature of the media. Disko - I'm not playing the devil's advocate here just because I did on one other thread that you happen to remember. I stand behind my arguments here 100%.

ok LIN, but why argue? I highly doubt that when mom0507 posted this that she wasn't looking for a new topic to debate but rather a photograph that she found a little humorous and unusual. And it is... This wasn't intended to be an arguement on gay relationships or religious views and it seems to the breeding ground for people like you to take it and use a harmless topic to voice your opinions. I think its fantastic that you will raise your child to not be a bigot and to accept people for who they are and who they choose to be but still we should not condemn others for their beliefs either.

kay101 - May 23

It's a funny picture......get over it.

LIN - May 23

Really, Disko? Should we not have condemned Hitler for his beliefs? No, not all beliefs are equal. Calling something a `belief' does not make it acceptable or virtuous. Some are most definitely right or wrong. In fact, calling it a `belief' is just prettying up a derogatory opinion to make it sound like it's got some moral foundation. Funny that you're only complaining to me, when two other women said some horribly judgemental things. All I did was defend those who are different. There were three other people who voiced opinions before mine. Why are theirs acceptable and not mine? Because you disagree with it?

disko love - May 23

ok you had better pump your brakes a little there, LIN... I do believe that the other two women to whom you so kindly referred to merely were posting their 'beliefs' (and yes I say beliefs again so get over yourself and your ignorant comments) and those women never once attacked or tried to impose their views on anyone until you came along and so blatantly spewed your word vomit all over them. It was you who brought up religion and gay relations to a disrespectful level. omg and now you bring Hitler into the conversation? Really, LIN? That is just distasteful, disrespectful and downright rude. You sound to make yourself sound intelligent but you end up sounding ignorant. I agree with Kay... The picture was funny. Get over it.

kay101 - May 24

I'm bored so forgive me for my ramblings. My husband is black and many many years ago our marriage and children would have been considered 'wrong' by society. To many people it probably still is. Some view it as wrong for me to be attracted to a black man, and for him to be with a white woman. We still get judged by some but because it's more accepted than not, I'll a__sume you would probably view it as horrible if somebody were to call our relationship sick, unnatural, or disguisting. I know I would. For the majority of people in our generation and our children's generation there is nothing wrong with our marriage. Perhaps in our grandchildren's generation this will be the same trend for gay marriage. We look at segregation as a bad thing and perhaps our grandkids will look poorly upon us for being as close minded as people in that generation were. To each their own, just my thoughts.

LIN - May 24

Disko, stop insulting me and make a real point. If you think my argument is faulty, then show me exactly where it is. Your insults just display your inability to make any rational argument. And don't call me disrespectful, because I said nothing about religion or "gay relations" (as you call it) that was even remotely disrespectful. If you want to start throwing out accusations like that, then you'd better back them up. Otherwise, you're just spewing nonsense.

Teddyfinch - May 24

i think everyone kind of blew this out of proportion. it was meant to be a funny picture. no one said "holy cow this man is pregnant!!". only that it was a funny picture. i think it's funny looking and sometimes we need to learn to laugh at things instead of a___lyzing the hell out of everything. no wonder americans die so young. too serious!!
