Britt you sound so creative and I'm sure the diaper bag came out so cute. I wish I was feeling up to doing that kind of stuff and of course I wish I knew how to operate a sewing machine..lol. Anything I sew has to be done by hand. Thank You guys for the suggestions- I think I will pick up a couple of preemie outfits and just leave the tags on that way if he doesn't fit in them I can always return them and my Mother bought him a couple of warm newborn outfits so I should be covered either way. My huband keeps telling me that it is too early to start worrying about clothes but the way I see it,, this has been such a difficult and miserable pregnancy and I haven't had any part that has been enjoyable- I might as well try and have some fun shopping. Besides the doctors are saying I will be lucky if I can carry until 37 weeks when we are scheduled for the C-Section so I just want to be prepared. Does anyone else feel like time is running out and they have nothing ready? I have the crib set up and we have a diaper bag with a few newborn diapers but that is it. Am I just being too impatient?

Hey guys, nothing exciting at my doc appt today. I didnt have an internal. She said it was up to me. Ill wait for 2 weeks until my 39 wk appt which Ill actually be 39 wks 4 days at. A lot of you will want to strangle me for saying this but I dont think that how much you are dialated or effaced before you go into labor means anything. The day before I delivered my ds I was 1 cm and 50% effaced and my friend was 3 cm and 75% effaced at 36 weeks and ended up being induced at almost 42 wks. So its just not something I worry about. Anyways! Baby sounded good. 20 more days until his due date. I cant wait!

I am with you on that one Patience....my sister walked around 3cm and 80% effaced for about 3 weeks but it all depends on the person. I was meaning ot ask you Patience...Have you had any BH's this time around? I just got a little nervous because recently I have had some strong BH's and they are in my back...YIKES- I am SO hoping I can avoid the back labor. I just wanted to know if you are feeling this. Although I had WAY more frequent BH's with my son and only felt it in my stomach. Oh and that is great about your appt! Creative job Britt! Sounds cute! Well I couldn't resist...I just ordered an Australian Muslim Wrap from Aden and Adais (actually it was ordered through Gap.com) I saw it in the hospital on Tuesday with a little man all bundled up and just fell inlove...it is just a receiving blanket but I love it!

I have had BH with this pregnancy but mostly when I exercise. Yesterday though I had the worst BH and belly and back pain. Every time I would lay down they would go away so I knew it wasnt real labor but ouch! I only had back labor last time and no BH at all. The baby was posterior 2 weeks ago and now hes not so I hope he stays that way. Im hoping I can avoid back labor this time too. I ordered a book called Back Labor no More that someone on another post recommended. I hope I get it soon. A lot of midwives and doulas recommend it.

Well I'm sure you all read that Angel's the first to have her baby! I can't wait to hear her birth story!

JNFR614 - September 10

Now that Angel had her baby I'm getting soooo excited & can't wait til it's my turn!!!!! So, who will it be next!?!? I can't wait to find out & I love, love reading all the birth stories- so, the excitement has begun!!!!!

Patience tonight at Turbo kickbox I felt like the entire hour I had one ma__sive BH!! Exercising does it for me too but these are a little stronger. That's cool we have our first Oct Baby Born...even though it is Sept!! I had a feeling she was having the babe since she hasn't been on for a few days....not to mention she was 4cm and 90% effaced...I think once you get over that 4-5cm mark you are pretty sure to go soon! ha! This is SOOOOOOOOOOOO gross and dumb but I am kind of excited for the excitement of the M-Plug or B-Show (Sorry but I don't like the first two of either of those words!!) I just remember with my son i lost my plug 2 weeks before I had him but they always say show is just hours before and I lost mine about 24 hours before labor!!! Now I am excited! ha!

How exciting! Congratulations to Angel!! =) So, i had my doctor's appt last night. My doctor is one of four in a group practice so last night i finally met the last one and of course she annoyed me. She was checking the baby's heart beat and stuff and then asked me if they scheduled me for another sonogram. I told her no, since they only said i would have one if "necessary". So she decided to send me for another one stating "small for gestational age" as the reason- MIND YOU, she didn't even measure my belly! So this has kept me up all night and now i don't know whether to think she is really small or what. I guess i will find out when i make the appt. Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies!

beka - I wouldn't worry too much, I was measuring 5+ weeks small and went for the ultrasound and baby is right on target. Sometimes thats just how we carry. I don't like one of the pract_tioners in the midwife clinic and I refuse to see her again!

beka81 - September 11

Thanks brit- you just made me feel better. I go Monday at 2...it's going to be a long weekend!

ejmeskan - September 11

That's annoying Beka..Someone was just talking about that on the 3rd tri board. Same as Britt for me...I was measuring 5 weeks small with my 1st pregnancy and my babe was in the 90% per the u/s and tomorrow we will talk about when I will have my u/s for this pregnancy because I am measuring smaller...again it is all how you are carrying...it is an easy answer for me- I am 5'10! But still..how annoying that she didn't even measure your belly!

beka81 - September 11

ej I read your post on the other subject....really made me feel better. Sorry you have to worry once again this time around but i am sure you and I are right on track....just because WE aren't big doesn't mean our little angels don't have what they need! Good luck and let us know what happens!

Hi Ladies - So, Angel was the first to go! One by one we'll all be joining her! The nursery is finished - just washing his clothes and putting them away. I feel much better and more relaxed. I had my 36wk appt today. All measures ok - not dialated yet! I had a horrible night. Was super sick to my stomach, horrible heartburn, congested and sneezing and my throat is killing me! Doc told me to take the day off today, lay down and take care of myself. I think that whole measuring thing is bs! Women come in all shapes and sizes so it just boggles my mind how a doc or practictioner goes by the size of your belly! Beka - i would be super ticked if my doc did that to me! I wouldn't worry too much. Liz - you keep up with that kickboxing and you'll have that baby in no-time!! Hats off to you for keeping up with your fitness! I stopped walking at about 7months. I get winded just walking up the stairs!

Boo- Mari...No action?!?! What the heck- come on little man- help your mom dilate! ha! :) Sorry you aren't feeling well. I hope you are taking the day off today! I would love to see photos of the nursery...email me some pics!!! Mari- I honestly struggle with walking...I am WAY more sore when I walk then when I do kickboxing. I do think that is why i am feeling good though because even though I felt great with my last pregnancy I had the little aches and pains that are common. Oh and by the way....I haven't done kickboxing in 2 weeks, and I have been eating out of CONTROL again! I stopped and got a snickers ice cream bar on my way home from the gym last night!!! I totally agree with the size thing...everyone carries different!!!!!

beka81 - September 11

you know what ladies, we are ALLOWED to eat what we want cuz guess what the BABY wants it! I'm all for treating yourself to the goodies as long as you're eating healthy meals too! i wish there was somewhere for us to post up our pics! i would love to see you guys and then the little babies later!

Saird - September 11

I cannot get over the kickboxing thing! Way to go! I can barely go shopping! ANd as for measuring small, well I am measuring like 4-5 weeks ahead and have already measured 40 a week ago. SO go figure. I agree, when everyone is a different weight and height to begin with, how can you measure by belly? It seems ridiculous. I don't eat junk food often, but man could I go for a blizzard right now! Last week I had to have cheesecake, and two days ago I baked a strawberry rhubarb pie and besides two peices, ate the whole thing myself! Oops.
