WOW- CONGRATS Babywish!!! Good luck MissP- please update us asap!!! Britt- that is bloody show!!! Ok this is what my doc told me, my baby book and what actually HAPPENED to me. M-Plug can happen a month, weeks or a days before delivery but most commonly within weeks/days. The bloody show however means labor is only hours/days away (NOT to get you excited!) We my son I had my m-plug 2 weeks prior to deliver but my bloody show (exactly what you explained) was only 24 hours before labor started!!!!! Wow- a lot of excitement here! I have my appt on Monday- I am looking forward to seeing if there is progress...I am going to guess NO

DESTINY - September 21

Well still no baby for me, I was hoping since I was almost a 4 and 50% effaced and a -2 station that it would be sometime soon. But that doc's appt was thursday, here it is sunday and still nothing. I have been so patient with this one all these months and now that it is down to such little time I am so impatient. I am starting to get depressed, every morning and everynight I wonder will it be today. I know I know my time will come, but I am so ready and so miserable no, I feel like I do nothing but complain, My back hurts, sharp shooting pains down to my cervix, baby pushed down so hard sometimes I feel like he's going to fall out and the list goes on and on and on. My poor DH is the one who has to listen to it. lol. I suppose since I am the one who has to go throught the pain of labor he can be the one to listen to me gripe, it was all is fault anyway. lol j/k. I hope all you ladies are doing well, My next appt isn't until thursday, hopefully I will have baby before then. I have walked, eaten pineapple, my girlfriend told me if you rub castor oil on your belly in the shower (ma__saging your belly) and then put warm towels around you when you get out, that could bring on labor, didn't work. Tried bouncing on the yoga ball while watching tv, walking stairs, S_x, spicy foods. HaHa, None of it worked, he is just to comfy in there. I did the same thing last october with the last baby and the only thing that worked, was giving up on the wives tales and relaxing. I went in to be incuced and I was at a five and my bag was bulging. So I think now, I will just walk to relax and get away from my overly noisy house and try and stay stress free and let God bring him here. Have a good day ladies.

Oh Destiny, do I hear ya. I just want to cry everyday now that it doesn't happen! I"ve never been checked so I don't know if I"m dilated or not, but I have those shooting pains so bad it's ridiculous. They feel lower all the time too. I've eaten pinapple and drinking raspberry tea and having s_x. Last night a friend of mine did accupressure on me even. And I started taking some homeopathic stuff today. I am miserable. I want this baby out so bad! The impatience is driving me crazy. I feel like I can't even be nice anymore!! BTW babywish, congrats!!!! And MissP good luck tomorrow! POst as soon as you can!!!

Aryanna- love the facebook comment! I'll be giving my lil Gianna an eviction notice on Wednesday- that's my 37 week mark, lol. GOOD LUCK MISSP- CAN'T WAIT TO READ YOUR BIRTH STORY!!!. Well, I had a lil bit of a scare- normally baby is very active at night around 8:30-9:30, last night she didn't move much at all, instead of panicing I figured I'd wait til the morning. This morning I didn't feel much either, so I got a cup of coffee (been drinking a cup a day for the past 3 weeks, I couldn't resist anymore!) & waited- she finally started moving around, poking out here & there, which eased my mind. It just seems like she isn't moving as much as normal, though. What do you ladies think, should I go to the hospital for monitoring (dr. office is closed today) or could it be that she is just getting really crowded in there & starting to slow down. I don't want to over or under react- give me some opinions , please!!! (she just got a case of hiccups, haha)

Saird - September 21

I"ve noticed I don't get as much movement either. I think it's because their space is so limited. I wouldn't worry about it too much, did they give you one of those kick count sheets? Where you're supposed to lay still for an hour and record how many times the baby moves? If you are concerned, then go on in. Better than safe than sorry. Only you can make that decision. Glad you liked my facebook comment! I"m 38 weeks tomorrow and ready to go!

JNFR614 - September 22

Hi everyone- figured I'd give you all an update. I called the dr. around 7p.m. & was told to go to the hospital for monitoring. Got there about 7:30 & they hooked me up to the monitors right away, they kept track of everything for a lil while & said I was starting to have some contractions, so did an internal- nothing going on there- still thick & closed so they released me at about 10:15. I have to go back tomorrow for a biophysical profile, which is more in depth monitoring of the baby & her activity- time on the monitor & an ultrasound which they score the baby on. I'm still having some contractions here & there, but nothing close together or consistent. I just had to pee & when I wiped there was a lil dot of blood, but I think that was just from the nurse doing my internal, if it happens again, I will be on my way back to the hospital. I'll keep ya all posted.

ejmeskan - September 22

Yikes Jen- that's scary but glad everything is ok for now. I actually did get the blood when I wiped after my internals last time but it is good to keep an eye on it like you said!! Hang in there!!!

hello ladies...have not been here for some time...just so busy with work and preparing and still wrestling with the HG...baby boy is thriving, I am just happy he is healthy. I can't believe how close we all are..but not close enough. I am looking forward to meeting him. Last u/s showed he had a ton of hair, but I have no heartburn...but I also rarely eat. We got our Amby hammock and are now just waiting for him to make his appearance. I can't wait to see what he looks like. I just feel so frustrated to know that being 3 weeks away can easily turn into 5 weeks. I feel like I cant get any bigger, and I have only gained about 8 pounds...I am back on the decrease in weight since the HG has come back full force in the last trimester. My u/s says I am due 10/10, but my mid-wives are going by my LMP which is 10/15...so annoying...just give me the 10/10 date and call it a day...LOL...happy to hear everyone is doing well...and that all the early babies are doing well...send your delivery magic my way!!! Send it to all of us! He needs to come OUT! wonderful wishes and easy deliveries to everyone!!

DESTINY - September 22

HELLO LADIES AND GOOD MORNING, WELL I SUPPOSE IT WOULD BE A BETTER MORNING IF BABY WAS HERE, SAIRD- I AM GLAD SOMEBODY FEELS THE SAME WAY I DO. I THINK I GET MORE MISERABLE EVERYDAY. I DON'T THINK I COULD GET ANYMORE READY FOR THIS BABY. MY HUSBAND DRIVES A SEMI AND DOESN'T ALWAYS MAKE IT HOME, SO WHEN I SEE THE DOCTOR ON THURSDAY I WILL ASK HIM TO INDUCE TO ENSURE HUBBY IS HOME WITH ME. I DON'T HAVE ANY FAMILY HERE IN COLORADO, THEY ALL LIVE IN CALIFORNIA. I HAVE A LOT OF CHURCH FRIENDS BUT IT HELPS TO HAVE HUBBY THERE. WITH OUR FIRST, I WAS PUSHING AND DH WAS HOLDING ONE LEG THE NURSE THE OTHER (EPIDERAL COULDN'T DO IT MYSELF) AND AFTER THE FIRST PUSH HE SAT BACK DOWN, AND THE NURSE YELLED AT HIM TO GET HIS REAR END BACK UP AND HOLD THAT LEG. LOL. HE DIDN'T KNOW ANY BETTER. POOR GUY. WITH JACOB (3RD BABY) HE FINALLY DECIDED HE COULD GET THE COURAGE UP TO CUT THE CORD, WAS SO GROSSED OUT THAT HE SWEARS HE WON'T DO IT THIS TIME. LOL. WITH TYLER (2ND BABY) I HAD TO HAVE MY APPENDIX REMOVED AT 30 WKS, HE WAS SO SCARED EVERYTHING THE DOCS WERE TELLING HIM WENT IN ONE EAR AND OUT THE OTHER, SO WHEN SURGERY WAS FINISHED THEY TALKED TO HIM AND TOLD HIM WE WERE OKAY AND THE APPENDIX WAS OUT, WELL HE MISUNDERSTOOD THE DOCS AND TOLD ALL OF OUR FAMILY THAT THEY REMOVED HALF MY APPENDIX. LOL. LIKE YOU CAN ONLY REMOVE HALF. MY HUSBAND IS A VERY INTELLIGENT MAN BUT WHEN IT COMES TO STUFF THATS MEDICAL AND SCAREY, HE JUST LOSES IT. MY POOR HUSBAND WE ARE ALWAYS PICKING ON HIM. I THINK I COULD WRITE A BOOK ON IT. I HOPE YOUR HUSBANDS WILL GIVE YOU SILLY MEMORIES LIKE MINE DOES. I AM JUST WONDERING WHAT HE WILL DO WITH THIS ONE. HOPE YOU LADIES ALL HAVE A GREAT DAY.

JNFR614 - September 22

Hi everyone- I'm back from the hospital(again). I had the biophysical profile done- what it was, was a non-stress test & ultrasound. Baby is much more active today & they said everything is looking good.No more contractions yet today. It was so cute during the ultra sound we got to see her "practice breathing"-- her lil chest was going up and down, then she was waving her hands around quite a bit, but everything is ok, so I go back to the dr. on my scheduled appt. on friday, hopefully things will start progressing by then.

britt_m - September 22

Thats good to know EJM! I see the midwife on Tuesday so we'll see about any progress I'm definately getting some sharp cervix pains and a few sharp pains above my pubic bone which I didn't have before. Last night was the worst. I had to take DH to the hospital, he wasn't feeling pretty rotten then threw up some blood : S. Docs think he has broncitis that could be a slight case of pneumonia! Plz baby stay in there longer!!! When I was sitting in the chair next to him I kept having to shift, and stuff as the sharp pains were a touch rough worse than I've ever felt them. They weren't consistantly 3-5 minutes apart or anything tho. Maybe practice ones? I was like not now lil guy, not now. Poor DH had to still go into work today and get checked out at his base clinic and turn in paperwork for him to have a few days off, pretty bogus stuff if you ask me. I also have my fetal monitering and ultrasound schedualed for Tuesdays as well. I hope everyones hangin in there!

Saird - September 22

Eww Britt, that sucks. That's all you need is him being sick right now. HOpefully you don't get anything. I just went for a huge nature walk ( we live in the country) and am giving myself lots of BH. THey are starting to feel stronger though. I say bring it on. I see the midwife tomorrow again. I'd rather see her in the hospital with me pushing, haha.

ejmeskan - September 22

Oooh Britt- that is terrible!!!! I hope he is feeling better soon! Hey Aryanna- at least those BH are doing something for your cervix though!! :) Thinning if nothing else!!! Ok ladies...is there ANYONE else on her that doesn't know what they are having?

DESTINY - September 22

NOPE, NOT ME- I AM TOO IMPATIENT NOT TO KNOW. IT WOULD MAKE THESE LAST FEW WEEKS WORSE FOR ME. MINES ANOTHER BOY, JONATHAN MICHAEL. I WAS REALLY HOPING FOR A GIRL WHEN THEY DID THE ULTRASOUND, I POUTED FOR ABOUT A DAY WHEN I FOUND OUT IT WAS ANOTHER BOY, BUT GOD HAS BLESSED ME WITH ONE GIRL ALREADY AND NOW 3 BOYS. I THINK I AM GOING TO BE A BUSY MOM, 3 BOYS EQUALS A LOT OF INJURIES AND LOTS OF TROUBLE. LOL.

ejmeskan - September 22

Ok back from my appt good news and GREAT NEWS!!!! 1.5cm /70% effaced- good news....HEAD DOWN!!!!! GREAT NEWS!!!!!!! Had to have an u/s in the room because I gained 6lbs in a week (I up until then I had gained 12lbs total!! ha!) and I was still measuring 33 weeks so he goes "Yes, i don't like this, We need to measure the babe" Thanks for the scare there doc!! But all is great here!!

Saird - September 22

EJ that is awesome! Do you know whether your baby is anterior or posterior? My baby has it's spine along my left side and I wish it would move more up front, because I really don't want it turning posterior in labour. DO you think the BH do thin the cervix? I am so curious to know if I'm dilated or not, but the midwives don't usually check. Do you have to have your mucous plug or show to know you're dilating? Anyone know that? ALso I don't actually know what I"m having. THe ultrasound tech said she 'thought' it was a girl, but the chord was all between the legs and she wasn't sure. That was at 19 wks. I haven't had anymore ultrasounds. SO I could be surprised!
