Hello .... my son is 5 1/2 months old & has been eating rice & barley cereal for about a month now, & I am still br___tfeeding too. So the Dr. gave me the Ok to start veggies & fruit this week & I started with pea's 3 days ago ... he's not to crazy about them but ate a few spoonfulls each day. But he has not pooped in over 2 days, ever since he started the pea's! Is this normal because the pea's are new to his little digestive system? Should I stip giving him pea's & try something softer like squash or sweat potatoes? He used to poo about 3 times a day & now nothing for 2 days .... I'm a little worried here. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure. I have heard that b___st feeding babies can go days without pooping and be fine. But my son is formula fed and goes one to two times per day, and he has started solids and that has not changed. I would just call the docs office and ask them at what point you should be concerned. I don't know if peas has anything to do with it. My son got a little constipated with bananas, but I haven't done the greens yet.
