1st Time Mom HELP Funny Smells

Okay I've had vaginosis before and this definitely isn't the case but since about 37 weeks it has smeeled different down there. It doesn't stink and it's not repulsive or anything but it's different. I lost my mucos plug yesterday and I've been having quite a few va___al exams lately because my Dr. was trying to strip my membranes.... it didn't work.... I just want to know if any of ya'll have had a different smell late in pregnancy or if this could be a sign of labor getting close. Could the fluid be leaking?? Please help me I'm kinda concerned!!! Thanks!!

this is something i was wondering also iknow this sounds gross but i started getting a smell like smoke down their i am 37 wks 2days and this has been going on for 2weeks now it is not strong but i can smell it after i pee .i don't know how to describe it smoke is the only thing i can think of to describe it .

are you getting any discharge with the smell? if you are, what color is it? if you are really concern you should check it out with your doctor. i had the funny smell with a yellowish discharge and i went into see my doctor and had an internal exam done. my doctor took swabs of it. she think it may be yeast infection which is common when your pregnant. so, just check it out with your doctor if your concern just to be on the safe side. hope everything goes well for you.

1Sttimemommy--like fire smoke or smoked foods smoke?? this sounds gross but when i was preg w/my 1st child, i went to my 1st appt at 2 months, and found i had a raging uti! i was asymptomatic, except for the smell , which i described as "smoked sausage" when i peed! LOL... my pee had never stunk before and i had a lot of pain and discomfort whenever i had a uti in the past(and i've had A LOT!) i basically suffered from uti's the whole preganancy... i just thought the smell was a change in hormones! just something to think about...
