This is going to be my second child and as soon as "they" look at me "they" tell me that I'm going to go early. Is it true that you go early on your second child?

Even if your first baby came early there is NO way of knowing if your next one will to the same (unless there is a medical reason to believe otherwise). Yes sometimes subsequent babies comes earlier, but at the end of the day each baby comes when it's ready & might come early or late. I went over with both dd & ds & am now preg with #3 so am not expecting to go before the due date, but that said it doesn't mean that it won't happen. Goodluck with your pregnancy & don't stress too much about when the baby will come, just make sure you have everything ready by at least 36wks & bubs will grace you with his/her presence when he/she is ready.

I agree with E586467 - My second son took just as long to arrive as my first - there was no lightening speedy delivery - I did not push as long with him but he still took about 24 hours to come out Iabored at home for 12 hours then labored 12 hours at the hospital.....so you just never know - I am pregnant with number 3 and will be induced tomorrow and do not expect a super speedy delivery.
