I have not had any braxton hicks through out the entire pregnancy and I'm 37 weeks today. Well this morning when i got up I was laying in a small wet spot on my bed. The past two or three days I have been having cramps that feel like you're about to start your period and well I was just wondering could I be in labor and not even know it?

Did you smell the wet spot? If it smells like pee it is. If it smells sweet or musty it might be amniotic fluid. You should call your doctor if it's not pee. And you should ask him about the cramps. Cramps can come and go towards the end, but it is better to ask just incase.

yeah I smelled it and it didn't smell like pee, it didn't smell like anything and I went to the doctor today and she said that it wasn't my water so that makes it even more of a mystery. oh well I guess I'm just leaky.

I leaked few days before my due date as well...so needless to say I wasn't worried much! As long as you got yourself checked and the dr said it wasn't your water you are good!

i didnt have and false labor and had no idea what to expect when a contraction came. but at 7 days over due i was awakend at 4:30 am with pain and new right away i was in labor. she was born 13 hours later. i couldnt describe the contaction pain as a cramp either, it seemed different to me. Just watch for consistancy in the pain, how far apart they come and how long they last.....if its casual pain, like 1 or 2 times in a few hours, or day its probebly baby dropping, getting ready for delivery.
