I had a cesarean birth 6 yrs ago but it wasnt because of complications. One of the doctors that worked in the same practice was really impatient. She broke my water and induced my labor instead of sending me home. My dilation process was taking forever but i was willing to deal with it she says in two hours i will check up on you to see how much youve dilated she comes back 1/2 hour later and starts to plan a c-section. Me being dumb, young, and naive never questioned her but went along with it. Now im pregnant with my second girl and my new doctor has already decided for me that it will be a c-section by an appointment. I dont know what to do now im scared to push but im also scared to have a c-section and how do i deal with my doctor making this decision 4 me?

I read that 3 years after having a c-section you are able to deliver naturally. Also pushing a baby out isn't as bad as how long your recovery from a c- section will be. I say request to your doctor to go into labour naturally instead of being induced and see how it goes from there. Be strong. AND PS your old doctor is a real jerk for doing that to you.

Just tell your new Doctor what you prefer, v____al delivery after c section can be done, as 6 years is a long time to recover from the original. Tell your Dr that you would like to try and deliver naturally this time and ask his/her reasons as to why they are booking you in for a c section. They are probably just being precautious by making this decision for you as your labour would need to be monitored more closely and you could possibly need an emergency C-section if problems arise, its up to you ,but remember you can try for natural if your Dr approves.
