ok so Ive noticed when I go pee I always have stuff leaking sort of that doesnt smell like pee and when it hits the water in the toilet it sorta dissolves (sorry if tmi) but its like when you drip a drop or two of dye into water and it sort of dissolves and what not.. Could that be my water leaking or just me wishing that labor is close? Im 38 weeks. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks :)

Just wear a pad and see if it gets wet. If it does get wet, make sure to see if it smells like urine or not. If it doesn't smell like urine and not any v____al discharge than yes it is water leaking..Otherwise you are thinking too hard like me...Arghh I am 40 weeks + 4 days and wish to get my baby soon...Pray for me and I will do the same..good luck

I was wondering the same thing. The whole day yesterday, I kept getting little gushes, but nothing significant, but it had a little very light yellow discharge mixed with it and a lot of fluid around it, my panties felt yukky all day, I kept having it in the evening with BH or contractions, I wasn't sure if I was in labor. But I'm here at work sittin through more contractions, they're really nothing to complain about, so I don't know what to think.

my gosh i'm having the same thing. it's all too weird because i don't want to go all the way to the hospital only to be told that the dripping is normal. that would suck. especially since i'm already crying everyday cause my little one is not here yet. the pad thing is a good idea but there is no good determinate like going to the doctor. if it's soaking up pads quickly i would take that into consideration and go in. if it is not and you feel like you can wait until your next appt than i would do that. i do know what it feels like because as i type i'm thinking of taking my third shower. there is a trend in us all though. we are all 38 + wks pregnant and we all say it does not have an odor nor significant color. if you look at most online and book resources, they say the fluid will be straw colored which in my mind means yellow-ish. if that's what you got raise your hand........now call the doc cause your baby could be right around the corner. congrats and good luck to all.

my labor started with my water leaking, put on a pad (regular pad not a pantyliner) and if it is soaked in 1 hour its your water. mine leaked and was tinted pink (although yours may be clear) for 2 hours then i had the huge gush! the doc had me wait a while to come in because i wasn't have regular contractions for a few hours. and i didn't have her for 23.5 hours!!!whoa! call your doc for advice!!!
