well im in the same boat your in except im having actual contractions but mine keep stopping but i lost my mucus plug earlier this week and when i went to the doc today he told me that i was 75%effaced and the baby is engaged but im 36w and i've been having the mentrual cramps since tuesday and that night i had a fever, diahrea, nausea all the symptoms but nothing yet and i asked the same question and the other girls told me that i could still go at least two more weeks but when i went in on monday and thats when i started to loose my mucus plug my midwife gave me only two weeks left so i really only have one week left and i feel like that im going to have this baby at any moment but with everything you can have your baby tonight its really all up to them i mean i wish i could have this baby now cause im starting to have complications hbp and protien in my urine but good luck to you and sorry i did a little rambling

Hate to tell you this, but you just never know. It's so different for every woman. I lost my mucus plug almost two weeks before I went into labor. All of those symptoms definitely sound like pre-labor, but it could drag on for the next three weeks. On the other hand, maybe you'll be holding your baby long before Christmas!
