Loose Bowel Movements

I am a week overdue. Today I went to the doctor and my cervix has thinned but it is wide and "unfavorable". I also had a stress test and ultrasound to make sure everything was okay. Since I came home I have been feeling really bad indigestion. I keep having to go to the bathroom....and this is gross but almost have liquid spew out of there. It's also stringy looking, like tissues? Is this normal? I wonder if this is one of the pre-labor signs, if so how long after diarhhea do you normally go into labor? I have been having gas like cramps now for a few hours, on and off. It almost feels like I was given an enema....

That /is/ a pre-labor symptom.. but with me I had diareahh for at least a week before I gave birth. I don't really know what to say that will help you, other than if you're able to, walk a lot. Walking really helped put me into labor.

Thats what happened to me when i realised i was in labour. I couldn't get off the loo for about half an hour. When it finally stopped i noticed i was still having the waves of pain then pop, my waters burst,went to hospital and i was 7cm dilated.I missed out on the whole early labour, Good luck, hope your baby comes soon! Keep us updated :o)

That was a sign for me. And it is a good thing cause the cramps make you contract. So its easing you along...good luck, I think baby will be here VERY soon. And like Ayame said walk walk walk! Thats what did it for me, also try doing crunches. My sister did that and it made her water break.
