Candy, she probably doesn't want you walking around but why don't you call her and ask? Good luck. Keep us posted as to how you're doing.

Candy,,,I am going to a__sume that she wants you on bedrest to keep your blood pressure down. Like i mentioned earlier, if your health or your baby is at risk then you should take the advice of your doctor. Im hoping to help women to see the difference between needing pitocin or the doc just wants to hurry it up.

I have heard that Pitocin is the pits! Mothers who have had children with and without it say that PItocin really sucks! Ladies, Try to avoid it!

Well, I go tonight to get induced (1 a.m.). My doctor is still very concerned about my blood pressure. It's gone down somewhat but she still wants to induce. She said she's very nervous that it'll spike again and she'll have to do an emergency c-section. My baby is doing fine, it's just me. She said if I didn't have any protein in my urine it might be another story. I have trust in my doctor becasue I know she's not the type just to induce for convenience. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. The last 41 weeks have been a real experience. Any advice for last minute packing? I packed my bag a month ago and I think I'm going to open it up and see what's in there?

Why isn't my cervix dilating? I am 3 days past my due date 80% effaced and the baby is at 0 station, however, my cervix isn't dilating, why is that and can I do anything about it?
